Sweet Indulgence Curbside

As a young adult patient in brylin back in early 2004 & 2005 I received treatment for suicidal thoughts & attempts. staff was very attentive with each individuals needs. I attended group therapy as well as individual therapy to help guide me in healthy ways to manage my struggles that I deal with daily. some patients choose to stay isolated in their rooms and refused therapy, as others took advantage of the help being offered to them to assist in survival after leaving. I am grateful for the overnight staff as to when alot of people suffer from insomnia, they would give suggestions in ways to calm negative thoughts(journaling, coloring, stretching, writing positive things about myself, things i would like to try or do when discharged). I felt safer being there than out in the real world. It was the nurses,staff & fellow patients that gave me hope with their own life experiences & kind words. More...
