Sweet 220 is more than just a bakery...it's an experience! I visited this establishment for the first time last year and I occasionally drop in every few months when I have a craving. Customer service is beyond great! The staff is always welcoming and warm. They even provide complimentary coffee even if you're only getting a cupcake or two. My absolute go-to favorite is their signature lemon cheesecake cupcake. OMG, sweets never tasted this good! I started getting just two during my visits but now it turns into 6 to a dozen because they're just that great or have my loved ones experience the sensational delight of their cupcakes. This was my first time using Sweet 220 bakery! I was driving by one day and seen this cute nice looking Bakery in Livonia. So I decided to look them up on line and Facebook! And I was very impressed with talented work done by Hassan! So I decided to go and get a cake for my daughters 3rd birthday! The cake was absolutely delicious Hassan did an amazing job it was well decorated and super tasty he added few of his suggestions that he wanted to add and I am so glad I did we love the cake it was delicious ! I also want to thank Hassan for his great and very friendly customer service! So today was my birthday. My mom who lives in Tennessee called around to find a Baker who would make the cake, but deliver is as well. My mom wanted it to be a surprise, which it was. The cake was a beautiful work of art that no one really wanted to cut. I wish I had my phone and took a photo of it. Apparently my mom struck up a good conversation with Husson, I hope I spelled it correctly. I want to send my thanks and gratitude for making a beautiful and very tasty cake. My mother, sister, and I recently visited this wonderful bakery in Livonia, Michigan on a road trip from Chicago. It was warm and the scent of vanilla wafted from the kitchen. We were completely enthralled by the stunningly beautiful cookies (vibrant flowers, rainbows, unicorns, and more, all piped in buttercream) and the large assortment of mouthwatering cupcakes. The prices listed for their generously-sized gourmet baked goods are very affordable; I almost wanted to suggest that they charge more for their lovely creations. This was all before we tasted anything. Now, after driving for several hours, we finally sampled our treats and were just blown away by how delicious they all tasted. The cookies are soft and the buttercream decorations, though almost too gorgeous to eat, just melt in your mouth. You can tell they use very high quality ingredients. The cupcakes come in many different unique flavors. The strawberry cheesecake cupcake, for example, had this luscious strawberry compote which paired perfectly with the pillowy cupcake, fluffy cream cheese frosting, and graham cracker crumb topping. My only regret is that we don't live nearby to allow us to try them all! I would hi recommend stopping by, meeting their friendly staff, and purchasing a treasure trove of treats to enjoy, yourself. One of the best little bakery shops around! For Thanksgiving this year, we decided to try one of their apple/peach crumble cheesecake pies and it was so delicious that even my boyfriends Grandma, who doesn't like many different kinds of foods, loved it so much that we went back and bought her one for Christmas :) The cupcakes have the perfect amount of frosting to cupcake ratio and not to mention are my absolute favorite now. I had the Samoa and lemon cheesecake cupcakes. They are $2.50 each. The cake was moist and flavorful for each. I was expecting the lemon cheesecake to be a lemon flavored cake instead it was vanilla with a lemon filling. The topping was lemon custard(?) and cream cheese. Haas, a baker there always takes care of us and they will even make you a custom cupcake on the spot. I love love love the variety from Pb&J to the apple crumb and peach. I found sweet 220 on Facebook while searching for someone to make my daughters first birthday cakes. I checked out their pictures and figured I'd give them a shot and I'm so glad I did. Not only did the cakes look amazing but they tasted amazing as well. But in addition to being satisfied with the product, I was also so pleased with how I was treated there.
