SVJ made our packing & moving experience so much better and not to mention, less stressful! Amy was very pleasant and booking was so easy. Juan and his team arrived exactly on time and were so very friendly and worked around the clock for us! Packed every fragile item very carefully and literally had the entire house packed within 2-3 hours! This team rarely took breaks and never complained once even amongst one another and we had a lot to pack. A lot! Their positive attitudes & easy going nature made me feel very comfortable with them handling and moving our belongings. I was impressed with their teamwork in handing off, carefully moving things and doing it with a smile! I would definitely use this service again and recommend them to others. These guys did an amazing job. On time, so fast, yet so careful. Only thing holding me back from giving them five stars was that they showed up w four guys, but had only quoted me for three. I figured, they'd move faster and their price was already great so I didn't argue, and just paid an extra $80.00.Overall. Good price. Great staff/movers. Â Was skeptical using them because of some other not so great reviews, but in the end I don't think I'd have been happier using anyone else. Arranged a move for my mother who was downsizing after 70 years in her home. On-line estimate was helpful in giving me an estimate, especially since I was completing it for someone else. Four movers were assigned. They arrived on time. They were efficient and courteous. They were considerate, asking where she'd like they to place her things in her new home. We've used SVJ two times in the last 5 years to move. We've recommended them to friends and family as well who love them. They are fast, efficient and affordable . They are the perfect movers for someone moving apartments or houses and wants to save some money and have the move over quickly. During each of our moves, there was nothing broken or chipped. We had movers who took a lot longer and ended up breaking things. I found it impressive that they could move things so fast without any damage. These guys were fast, funny and cheap! Emptied all the big stuff outta my 4br house and into a two car garage in less than 4 hours. We couldn't move into our new house until the next day. Had one minor incident with a chunk of wall but it was an easy fix! I wish I knew the four guys names but I will use these guys if I need to move again and highly recommend them to anyone! More...

This was a local but complicated move. It was also the first time I used professional movers.My experience with this company could not have been better. The owners Steve and Valerie  took the time to listen to exactly what I needed.The crew that moved my 2 households of furniture could not have been nicer. Nothing was broken in the move which I thought unthinkable.I was really nervous about the move and stressed. Just had my THIRD Move with SVJ movers! They have been excellent every time. They aren't sticklers or complainers. The men are fast, efficient, and very nice. I was blown away when I saw the reviews on here. My experience 3 different times has been the complete opposite of these reviews. One thing I have learned from moving 5 times. I used SVJ Inc today and I must say, the men were hard working and took the job seriously, In my opinion they went above and beyond the call of duty. I asked for a 3 man crew and 4 men showed up with an extra charge of $10.00 /hr. After thinking about it for a while, I agreed to pay the extra money. I saved money in the long run as 4 men got the job done much faster than 3 and this kept me from going over the allotted time. I would use them again and will recommend them to my friends. We had a very fast move, due to job relocation, and this company was fabulous! They were kind to a crazy mom who was trying to help her daughters. They had to find a new home plan a move & come up with all the funds in 17 days........From the customer service reps to the movers they were professional, patient, respectful and incredibly kind.The 3 gentleman who came and helped with the move were fun(at that point was so needed) professional, organized and helpful.We are so pleased we choose, after reviewing four companies and proposals, this company.We would absolutely recommend their service, and use again if necessary, to anybody. Me and my family moved to the far NE and I used these guys for the move, everything went smooth from booking to the finish. I was told 3 guys were coming and four showed up ready to work and they packed the whole truck. I had more stuff then I thought and they were Okay with that I was still boxing as they were moving. They did arrive on time but they did show up with a 4th guy because according to my inventory list it wasn't a 3 man move which is what I signed up for. If I tipped I wouldn't be charged for that 4th guy. They moved everything carefully and quickly. They even tightened furniture that had loosened up. They took a part bedroom sets and fridge and had it all delivered and put together within their 3 hour time frame. I will definitely use again but will confirm my labor first. More...

My husband and I had the pleasure of using SVJ Moving for the second time on August 30, 2015. We had Mike, Anthony, Gordon and Cloud who worked quickly and tirelessly through the heat with no complaints. They showed up on time and in great spirits. They made sure our precious items were wrapped appropriately before they took anything out of our apartment, even though we didn't ask for this extra precaution. Our move was completed in less than three hours, so we did not incur any additional fees or charges. They proved to be true professionals. I would recommend SVJ again and again especially these four amazing movers.I'm pretty sure whatever they are getting paid is not enough to reflect how they impact people's moves. We truly could not have done it without them. I am nine months pregnant and my husband has a few ailments, and no one ever likes to burden friends with the task of a move. This however felt like old friends or family, helping us out efficiently. Oh, and let's not forget, their prices are right on point. Aaron and Hector moved some of my furniture into storage during a home renovation. Â They arrived on time, were courteous and professional, took time to carefully examine all the pieces they were moving to check for existing damage, then wrapped everything in shrink wrap (bubble wrap on the glass front of a dining room cabinet), got it carefully onto the truck, unloaded it carefully, and were finished in just about 2 hours. This was my first move in almost 30 years, so I was anxious, but these two guys worked well together and handled my furniture as if it were their own. I plan to hire SVJ again to bring my stuff back to the house after the renovation. Ruby at the office was super helpful and efficient in getting the whole move organized in record time. I just had a crew of 3 guys move furniture from a 2 bedroom apartment to another about an hour away, both apartments on the second floor with a lot of heavy furniture! Si (not sure I spelled his name correctly) was absolutely wonderful, so professional, thoroughly explained everything and lead his team to move everything without a hitch! They disassembled what needed to be, and reassembled with no complaints. He made me feel comfortable and secure that my belongings and bank account were in good hands, and we got a fantastic price! I booked this company and then saw the negative reviews posted here. I immediately addressed the negativity with Valerie and she gave me peace of mind. My movers were awesome!! They were on time, courteous and professional. I saw in some of the reviews that folks were critical of the attire worn by the movers...I never expect my movers to wear suits but maybe that is just a Delaware county thing :) I had a great experience with admin staff as well. This company was GREAT. The guys they sent out to help me and my family do our move was wonderful. They were very professional and courteous. SVJ made our move a very easy transition. I would definitely recommend this company to everyone to use for their moving experience.Everything was padded up and well takne care of. Also, the move was done in a very timely manner. They were done in no time. The peron that was in charge of the crew really made sure everything was completed before I signed anything. He did a walk through with me at the old place to make sure they had moved all what I wanted moved. And another walk through to make sure it was all put in place where I wanted it at the new house. They aslo breakdown and set back up any furniture that needed it. For example my king size bedroom set was huge and they broke it down and set it back up at the new place. I was very satisfied with the job these guys performed.As I read other people's comments, its no way they could have had the same crew I had because these guys were friendly with me and my family and they were on time and I it was done so fast, I didn't see any breaks being taken.
