What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing students learn to love music by teaching them how to play pieces they enjoy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a master's degree in music that I didn't use for a career. Now that I'm retired, I realize that I have something special to offer with my music background.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am versatile and love all kinds of music. I have years of teaching experience with students of all ages. My rates are low, but my background in piano and music theory is extensive. My teaching style is focused on learning pieces to perform and I offer two online recitals per year. I also cover the basics of piano technique and music theory. I use multiple different piano methods and design my lessons to fit the needs of each student individually.

Piano/Keyboard lessons
A classical background is essential for all types of piano/keyboard playing. I provide guidance on proper technique so that beginners will develop good habits. I try to find out what type of music the students enjoy to find pieces that they will love to play. I am currently studying music composition and encourage improvisation and creativity in my lessons. Along with my strong background in classical piano, I am also knowledgeable about popular and jazz piano. I have studied professional jazz piano and use the Udemy Piano for All to teach how to play chords and rhythms to hundreds of popular songs. I also teach music theory and have good reviews for teaching music theory basics that are learned in college.
