What an experience at Sushimotos Sushi class last weekend. We met at Seamus Tasting room in Kenwood, where we met Chef Keo. He took us out in the garden to pick a few items for some seasoning and garnish to go with the lunch our class would prepare. The ingredients were so beautiful and fresh. I never could seem to find the right rice, or be able to roll a decent sushi roll, but with Keo knowledge, and patience, I can. We paired our delicious sushis with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc from Seamus; so good. Oh, and the poke was so yummy as well. There was so much food during this class, it was a lovely lunch. To top it off, the experience of hands on learning with locals, and visitors to the Sonoma area, was so fun. What a wonderful afternoon we had; thank you!!! I will be back with family and friends. It is a great idea for a group and a few of your favorite neighbors, or couples. More...

I highly recommend hiring Ed and his team to cater your event. They did a fantastic job!!  I am still getting compliments on how good the food was and also how well they presented their yummy food. I highly recommend Chef Ed! My daughter and I took his Sushi class and needless to say it met all our expectations! It was a great way to spend time with my daughter and the class was extremely informative and fun. It was very helpful to have someone demonstrate and coach you in real time to learn this art. The food was fresh, delicious and we had plenty to satisfy our appetites.  Chef Ed created an experience where we all felt successful and provided us with the recipes, we left feeling confident enough to make sushi at home. I will be recommending his class to all our winery tour clients and friends!!! More...

Chef Ed exceeded my expectations with his deep formal training of classic Japanese sushi making that was evident in every little move he made teaching our class. Even regular folk like myself can easily understand how to properly create sushi the way he breaks it down and makes it fun. He offers helpful tips and then demonstrates how to achieve a handful of sushi as interesting and artful as it was delicious.This was a very compelling, artful way to spend two hours in the wine country.
