Okay to start we went on a weekend, Saturday morning, which of course is one of the most busy breakfast days. My only complaint was we couldn't call ahead even if we were already in the car on the way and put our name on the list.
When we got there we had to wait about a half hour to get seated. They use a phone texting notification service which is nice so I don't see the problem with taking phone orders. If we send you a text and you don't appear in the next 5 minutes we send a text to the next guy on the list...seems like a no-brainer.
It was loud. Everyone had to talk loudly to have a conversation at our table. I had the bacon egg and cheese croissant and my wife had the sausage egg and cheese both of which were really good. They took a simple dish and spiced it up with a really tasty buttery croissant and really nice seasonings. The service was slow though we waited another 35 minutes or so after ordering for our food to arrive and it all arrived warmish. For me edible for my wife not she sent hers back and demanded a hotter plate.
I really dig the theme, superhero culture and kind of comic nerd culture. But other than a few paintings on the wall I don't see much other nerdy stuff just a regular breakfast joint. Maybe a large bin of comic books for kids to Leaf through. Or free cheap little action figures that they could give out with kids meals, something else other than just painting a bunch of superheroes on the wall would be nice. It's a restaurant that employs many people of color if that's important to you, to support businesses who hire diversity. Overall everybody liked their food and thought it was tasty and well seasoned. Price is in the same range as breakfast at a Panera Bread or other similar upscale breakfast restaurant like First Watch.

My husband and I visited from Berryville, VA. On our first visit we were amazed not only at how beautiful the presentation of food was. . but the taste was phenomenal! We ended up going a second time and would’ve gone a third time but we saw that they closed on Monday. Everything we tried was incredibly delicious!!!! I would highly recommend if you are in Columbus a must try! By the way, the staff was sooo super-friendly and this was for both locations!!!? If you’re looking for great awesome food with a different twist this is your place the food is out of this world I highly recommend super chef ! !! It’s true you have to wait sometimes but that’s what happens when you have great food ! First went on a Thursday afternoon not very busy but there was a bit of a wait on the food and when it came out I was very satisfied. I felt bad eating such delicious food without my fiancé that I brought my him back on Saturday which there was a wait for table however they texted us when it was our time to be seated and as usual the food was great. This place is sooo delicious! I seriously love their red velvet pancake and the juggernaut! However, it’s always CRAZY busy and claustrophobic inside, so I suggest you get your food to-go. Also, if you get anything that’s red (red waffles or pancakes etc), your poop will turn bright red in a few days! Don’t be freaked out, it’s just from the dye and you aren’t anally bleeding. I went here for the first time with my husband and nephew. Their food was absolutely amazing. I had their banana nut bread waffles, hash browns, and candied bacon. I couldn't stop eating it all. This is a happening place, especially on weekends. Most other restaurants are closed Saturday and Sunday. Come early to get a table as the wait can be long.
Once seated, the food is tasty with lots to choose from.
The omelettes are flavorful, pancakes are wonderful and stacked high. Friendly staff working hard.

This place has a hole in the wall diner feel to it, but the food is excellent. They have some of the most over-the-top pancake and waffle creations that you'll find anywhere. Their wings are seasoned perfectly and the breakfast sides are all well-prepared with generous portion sizes. Prices are beyond reasonable for what you get. I went here for breakfast, wanting to try something new. I had a lovely cup of tea and the red pepper and shrimp grits. The grits were slightly above average, a little more seasoning would have been nice and the cheese being melted could have helped too, but it wasn't bad at all. The shrimp were slightly overcooked, but had good flavor and good seasoning. Considering the reasonable price and the casual nature of the restaurant, I can't complain much. My companion had the breakfast nachos (in the picture) and he was pretty happy with them. I wasn't a fan of the sweet bacon in the nachos, but everything else was spot on. Our server was friendly, attentive, and professional. The place was clean. It seemed like it would be a good place to take an older kid. They have pancakes and what kiddo doesn't like pancakes. I gave them 4 starts because they have truly mastered the art of presentation to the like of no one else in the Columbus area, and for their crazy food combination.
