Hojicha is my drink of choice here. I'm a bit embarrassed to say I haven't really even tried anything else on the menu. Their drinks are ok but the main reason I come here is for their crystal boba. I love crystal boba, but not a lot of boba stores carry it. There's no seating at all so you can't hangout here. Gotta grab your boba and go. I'll round my review up to four stars. I've been to this place about five times. All the times my drinks have been pretty good. The customer service here is OK, nothing special in my opinion. I do like the new revamped interior though. They've expanded their menu even more and I have more snacks which I like. The popcorn chicken tastes really good but it's just slightly small in my opinion. But I do like the creative new drinks that they have and I know that I'll definitely be back here again in the future. More...

My favorite boba literally EVER. Before their redesign the boba was typical, but now it's like a mix between mocha and boba, melt in your mouth STRAIGHT GOODNESS. If you want unique boba (they have different flavors in addition to normal boba) then come here. Not to mention their milk tea always has a strong tea taste, which is always a plus. I've been coming here every other week for a quick basic milk tea fix, and hojicha has always been my go-to these past few years. The cashiers each time were friendly enough, but the place is a bit too small to hang out with friends since it gets crowded quickly. I wouldn't really recommend the seasonal drinks, and boba texture is a hit or miss (sometimes too hard to chew, sometimes clumpy, at times it's too soft, but other times it's chewy and pleasant), so I usually get my hojicha milk tea with lychee jelly or aloe since both are hard to mess up, unless the aloe has been sitting around too long and tastes funny/slimy, but in the case of today's visit, it was just fine. I order my milk teas at 50% sugar level and it's still at the equivalent of 100% sugar if ordered at a different boba shop. I just like the fact that they have the Five Star Rewards program so I could stop by to claim my bogo free reward every now and then. It's pretty worth it for a quick milk tea run. More...

I don't come here without a coupon from FiveStars now. They eliminated some of the drinks that I used to get (Honey milk tea, Ceylon). The drinks often taste diluted even though I order them without ice. Also, they charge 5 cents for a straw now. Visited this place the first time I moved to the Ingleside area about 2 months ago, and in just that time I've made my way up to my first free drink after 10 purchases! I suppose this goes without saying that Super Cue is a pretty reliable spot when you're looking for boba in this area. I first was skeptical of flavored boba, but the strawberry and mango flavored boba was actually pretty tasty! I've tried the matcha flavor once, but it was in a matcha milk tea so I'll have to try it again without the tea. I'm a fan overall with the texture of both the flavored and regular boba, and it's been pretty consistently good. The flavors are also great, they don't taste powdery or too sweet when they make my tea (I usually go for less sugar/less ice). FYI bring a reusable straw! Taro milk tea is my default at these types of places but got their Taro Twister to try instead. The drink lasted longer than a milk tea would; refreshing, just sweet enough. No ice cubes to water it down either but remained cold for awhile. Service was basic, friendly enough. The menu here is just right-- plenty of options without being too overwhelming. The kids usually order off the signature drink list. I prefer the non-caffeinated teas. My only suggestion would be to offer smaller sizes. Each drink is colossal-- way too many calories for one person. And they charge an extra dollar to split it into two cups. Tucked away in a strip mall plaza is this hidden gem of a cafe that serves boba drinks & snacks for those wanting to munch on something, while quenching their thirsts. This used to be Verde Tea Cafe, which served a wide array of bubble tea, Asian-accented bites & artfully drawn espressos. What happened to Verde? Well.. rumors had it that they forgot to renew their lease or something along those lines. Whatever vague circumstances it may be, Verde mysteriously disappeared overnight. Super Cue Cafe is located in The Marketplace (an outdoor strip mall with Gyu-kaku, Daiso, Marukai, Beard Papa's and several other stores). It was a convenient location, since it's along the Stevens Creek Boulevard thoroughfare & a few minutes from I-280, making it an easy access from the freeway. It has tons of parking - so don't worry about having to find parking, as it has numerous spaces for the many businesses and establishments that call this sprawling plaza its home.For those who are familiar with the old Verde, you already know that seating inside is an impossibility unless you're willing to fork out the dough. Well, well, well, Verde is no more because Super Cue has made their presence known in good ol' Cupertino, AND lets you sit inside their establishment, regardless of how much you spend. I noticed that they took down the little barrier they had, which divides the front register & the seats;thus, essentially opening up the area by changing the colors & adding more tables to make it a welcoming place to come in for a drink with friends or family. The registers are all towards the back of the restaurant. Their menu is large, but it can be bit hard to see from the back; however, with the help of Yelp -  you can always just pull up the menu on your phone upon searching this Cupertino location. When you first walk in the store, you notice that all the furniture and tables are very clean and that the room has a very tidy feel. This was not my first time at Super Cue though, since I frequent their Fremont store much more, due to its proximity from where I reside. I was curious to see the differences with the drinks made here & the drinks from the Fremont store. All regular size drinks are LARGE in other boba places, but the prices are pretty reasonable. I believe they offer the chubby cups if the "normal" isn't enough. My drink came out to less than $2.50 with the discount. They also offer an assortment of snack choices-- typical of boba houses. I ordered the Genmaicha milk tea with boba - and it was robust/nutty, but sweet. I have to make a note to ask for less sweetness next time. Milkier and smoother than I expected, but overall pretty good. The boba was chewy, perfect and still warm, probably because it was a new batch.We were feeling a bit hungry so we got an order of mild spicy Crispy Chicken as well. The medium size here is actually rather large, and their large size is the shorter but fatter type of cup. This is a classic & staple order at milk tea/boba joints when you're feeling hungry and want something to snack on. This Super Cue actually made it very well. The chicken was not overly spicy, the breading was very crispy, and the chicken was tender and juicy. Overall, this Super Cue stands out in the midst of the many different milk tea/boba places around the area. They are on par with my usual Fremont store that I patronize, and I highly recommend this location - if you're ever in the Cupertino area, wanting a boba fix & some popcorn chicken to munch on. Tonight was the second time I stopped  in to Super Cue - for  a couple of boba drinks.  First time with my daughter.  I've always thought I was not the boba milk tea type, but let me tell you . .....I'm hooked on the passion QQ, passion fruit w boba and lychee. I love it.  It is so refreshing. I love this place for boba tea so much so that I go at least once a week so I figure that it's time to give them a proper review. You can either choose their signature drinks so you don't have to think about it or you you can create your own. But one of my favorite things to order is the Super Cue Box. Great place to study when I'm in the area. I usually finish class around 4, so I just head here instead of heading back to SJ right away. The decorations are always either based on holidays or the season. Small round tables are nice for people like me who usually studies alone, especially when they're next to outlets yesssI'm a very basic person when it comes to drinks, so I always get taro milk tea with egg pudding. I'm so excited to have discovered a Super Cue near me! It was the only thing I missed about San Mateo, but not anymore!Saturday night and no line. Friend and I were doing a quick snack run. I have been coming to this boba joint for the past 2 years and it has never disappointed me. They give a generous amount of boba, and the taste has always been consistent. Even when it's busy, I never had to wait more than 15 min for my order. My favorites are the peach oolong milk tea or house milk tea. I've also been to the one on Taraval a couple of times and it seems to have higher ratings than this one on ocean, but I personally think that this location tops it in many ways-- the taste, consistency, and service is always great from my experience.
