There is more good than bad about this Hotel. It is off the boardwalk, which is what we wanted . We didn't want our 5 year old to be overwhelmed with amusement parks, water parks and other attractions constantly. We wanted him to enjoy the ocean and the bay. It was within walking distance of good restaurants, stores, mini golf, etc. A trip to the boardwalk was easy to do. The hotel offers a private beach on the bay, which we loved and often went to at night, very private. Rooftop pool was great too. The room could have been a bit cleaner, but not too bad. Comfortable, full kitchen with full size fridge. Had a balcony. Check-in was a nightmare, my biggest complaint, waited 45 min in line in sweltering heat only to be told it would be hours after check-in time before we could get in our room, which rather ruined our first day. Only 2 staff to check in everyone and take care of the phone!! We did|| get a one hour later check out, but they were rude about it. The cleaning staff were very pleasant. it was hard because,|| being so late in the season they had a lot of staff vacancies, but tried hard to do their best. I would stay again, just for the location, the private beach and the ocean across the street. If nightlife is your thing Seacrets is within walking distance also. Assateague Island very close also. Legitimately a 5 minute walk because this part of the island is very thin. Fourth, the service was very friendly and prompt. The downsides are that it is a dated hotel so it's not high end. Well the only thing I didnt like was that the coffee maker was dirty. Everything else was great. Even if theres bad weather you still have the indoor pool. We had a great time there.

Have stayed here several times and always had a great experience. They are right next door to the best nightclub, restaurant, and bar in Ocean City, Maryland. You can have dinner, dance, live entertainment, and party at Seacrets Bar and Nightclub, then just walk across the parking lot safely and be in for the night. Fun place in a great area, you never need to take a taxi or anything to get everywhere you may want to go. Hotel is nice and quiet on the bay side.

Oh this place is a little dated. But it in a great location. The private beach is very nice, the water was way warm . I read a paddle boat I had a great time this is a nice place for kids also.
