Fantastic fine dinning with friends tonite at Sunset Grill! We took our five kids but our waitress Jamie was so super sweet and set us up in the back with great views and a place to keep kids contained! We started with tempura trio , amazing, rare tuna app also amazing. We ordered the shrimp salad with crab meat. Killer. The real star was the scallops in mustard sauce. My friend with fine tastes said it could have been the best scallops of her life. . The burbon pear old fashioned and the pain killer were our favorite cocktails! Had dinner there last night in inside bar area! Mitchell was our server & was very friendly & observant. Did not have to look for him at anytime. Awesome spot in OC. Over the years I have found that a lot of restaurants are just average- totally take advantage of being a resort town and most food and drink is B-C average- but not Sunset GrilleThe facility is beautiful and well-maintained. All staff, especially server Skye, were amazing. She was extremely attentive, great personality, and just plain good at her job. As a business owner, great employees are hard to find. Even when she wasn't taking care of us or her other tables, I noticed her cleaning- sweeping/taking out trash- picking up trash on the floor and not just walking by it.
