Pretty good poke place. Their fish is soft, and I really like their ponzu sauce. They have the typical topping options (crab salad, cucumbers, edamame, masago, seaweed salad, etc. ) and they're all very fresh! This Is by far my favourite Poke bar. I've been here about 5 times this year and it doesn't disappoint. The fish and shrimp taste fresh and the flavour is great. they are very generous with the portions. CUSTOMER SERVICE:Great even when busy. Yesterday my coworkers and I stop by Sunfish poke bowl for lunch. There's plenty of parking and usually no lines (We ordered right away). 5/17/2019I was suppose to pick up my car today from FJ Mercedes, but apparently their shop vac scratched up the front bumper. ..so back into a loaner I go. But before heading back to work, I swing by Sunfish Poke Bar.  Parking is a bit iffy because of the Starbucks Drive Thru, but if you don't mind the walk (and I never do), there is a lot of parking available in this little plaza. I got a regular size poke bowl which consist of a base (white rice in my case), protein (tuna, shrimp and ahi poke) and toppings (crab meat, corn, masago, cucumbers). I actually never ordered a bowl from Sunfish--just the handrolls two years ago. I decided to come here with my boyfriend.Upon walking in, there was already a line ! I don't mind waiting, since I'm a server too. They have a lot of options, such as octopus, spicy tuna, scallops, and your typical salmon and tuna. I opted for salmon and spicy tuna. They do have limited toppings, but I was fine with the options they had. I can't remember which one, but one of the dry toppings was really really hard to bite through. I didn't really appreciate that.They don't put sauce on the top of the bowl like other places, and I've never not done that before. Loved, love, love these guys! Fresh buttery poke with ample servings of your choice of salad, yam noodles, or white or even brown rice for your base. My favorite sauces are their cilantro and mixing it with the spicy aioli. A little yummy kick! The crab salad is a must coupled with avocado. The best part of this place is they offer gluten free soy sauce ( most likely liquid aminos). Other places I have to bring my own little jar. I was in one of those moods: Want raw fish but nothing too heavy, nor wanting to sit down at a restaurant for a long meal. I attended their soft opening a while back and remembered the food was really fresh and good. Since I was in the area I decided to stop by with my mom and sister, both first timers.The staff was super nice and patient, helping my mom with her order. This has been my go-to for poke for over a year now. They have a good selection of sides and love the option of yam noodles or greens as a base.  Depending on the server, you may get a little less than normal ... that is my only complaint.  Inconsistent serving sizes. Favorite local poke spot. They have a couple of marinaded ahi tunas that are delicious and the portions are decent they also have a lot of options for what you want as your base. This is your typical poke place, but it seems to be pretty generous with their fish. I went here with some of my friends, and they all seemed to really like their poke bowls. I wasn't very hungry, so I ended up getting the handrolls, 3 for $10. I got two spicy tuna handrolls and one spicy salmon. I really liked both of them. The fish was quite fresh, and I really appreciated this meal. I can't say much else because I didn't try their poke bowls, but I would be willing to come back to try them! I rarely ever write reviews, unless the place is good, and only use yelp to find nearby food but... Compared to all the other poke places in the Bay Area I've been to, this one is the least greedy with their scoops. The staff is friendly af and I've never had a problem with them. A regular sized bowl of poke at poke house is more expensive than a large here. Since I go to Unitek College I always find myself here at lunch and they're always taking my money 10/10 always coming back. (Please don't raise your prices, I beg of you.) Was visiting and was craving a Poke Bowl, very glad we found this place. The restaurant was very clean, staff was friendly and the service was quick despite the long line. They have multiple protein options and they artfully prepare the bowl, to the point almost don't want to eat because of how nice it looks... (almost don't want to eat) lol... but we dug in, and it was delicious. The only item that was not up to par with the rest of the bowl were the garlic slices, they seemed old and WAY to hard. Limited seating inside but they have a little picnic/table area outside (but beware as smokers tend to congregate out there when they eat...bleh).
