I don't think I could be happier with my shutters. They use polywood, which is such a good material for shutters that are made for desert homes. There is a bit of a process before shutters can be installed fully (5-6 weeks usually) since everything is custom-made, but it's well worth the wait. I could not get over how FAST the installation was. We own a one story home and the installation took under an hour. I'll definitely be coming back to this company if I need any new shutters installed. More...

I requested a quote on yelp and Darik got back to me the next day.  He came out to measure and his team was back the next day to install.  I was out of town and they let themselves in and did the job, no issue with trust, these guys did a great job and cleaned up after themselves!  I couldn't be happier with how they matched the existing style and were able to complete without any supervision.  I was pleasantly surprised when I got home at how well the job turned out!  I would not hesitate recommending Sunburst Shutters if you want a quality job at a fair price!  Thanks Darik!! A fabulous company I would hire them again! The first time I called in, the receptionist was friendly and scheduled our consultation appointment fairly quickly, I think it was only a week away. David, our sales rep was so easy to work with, very much a gentleman. When I didn't hear back within a week on when they planned to schedule our installation I got concerned because the entire reason we ordered the shutters was to make our HOA happy which they were aware of at the time of our booking and consultation so I called in and this new receptionist who I never spoke to before was disgustingly rude, didn't give me her name and just kept talking to me with an attitude unlike the first receptionist I spoke to so I eventually just had to hang up since I was getting nothing out of her. Our sales rep had never disclosed when I mentioned my HOA situation that it would take a month to process, he said they would call us within a few days to schedule the installation otherwise I never would have called back in, I would have waited for their call. Luckily, our HOA didn't care about the wait they just wanted the front of the house windows to match ASAP as we had curtains in the front bedroom and old school blinds in the kitchen, apparently that was inappropriate to them but it wasn't the wait that bothered me it was how the receptionist handled my phone call. They eventually scheduled the installation for in 6 weeks (a 1.5-month wait) which isn't terrible, again I was just trying to make my HOA happy and not get fined!Today Eric and Oliver came over to install the shutters and they were SO professional! Both were attentive to my dogs and the house. They wore shoe covers, removed all the blinds for me and discarded them which was a great help not having to wait for bulk trash day. They were on time, so quick they were all done within the hour but with such quality to their work! That speed really helped as my dogs were stressed about being in their crates. We had Sunburst Shutters install plantation shutters in our Sun City Anthem home and were 100% satisfied.  Accordingly, we didn't shop around; just called them when we bought our new Inspirada home.Sales experience was wonderful; love Myles.  He is efficient, capable, professional, wore shoe covers without being asked, etc.  However, he didn't offer us temporary shades and we didn't think to ask for them.  Instead, we put packing paper in our windows.  Someone spoke to us about that, so I grabbed a different Sunburst Shutters salesperson one day and talked him out of a box of temporary shades.  So:  Just remember to ask.The Installers damaged our dresser and didn't tell us.  It is possible that they didn't realize they did it.  AJ wears a big honkin' key ring with hardward hanging from his jeans belt loop; he might have gouged the dresser with his key belt without realizing it.  (That won't happen again.  He's been instructed to leave the key ring in his van going forward.)I called the office hours later, just as soon as I noticed the gouge.  The GM Darik called me immediately, even before seeing my initial two-star review on Yelp.  After a little phone tag, we had a great conversation; I am confident that he will share "Lessons Learned" with the entire installation team; and he stepped up and took responsibility for the damage.  Therefore, I am upgrading my score to a 4.The shutters look great.  Everything fit perfectly -- again, because Myles is so good at his job.  I highly recommend Sunburst Shutters which has been in business for over 40 years!Be sure to ask for a repeat customer discount, if you are a repeat customer. From Arizona and planning on moving to LV.  Based on impressive reviews, gave them a call and no one was available for in home consultation. Nice person on phone told to measure all the windows and come to store. Check.Friday 7/12 3.30 pm went to store on W flamingo road location. A lady there who won't tell her name (and reportedly does not work there per her and "just covering"). She would ask "how can I help" but ofcourse does not want to work, does not want to show anything and half of the things she says include "these are super costly" ! I am sorry , you probably do t want to work on Friday afternoon or do not want people to walk in maybe. And you can tell people do not want "expensive" stuff. Please if you find her name ask her if she wants to work. And ofcourse lost our business. Thanks. Update: 7/14/19Updating review:Darik (GM) with company made a very professional courtesy call and explained the reason for our unpleasant experience. He went ahead to make sure company earns our business and was very courteous. This goes to explain why company has earned five star reviews from all the people. I would highly recommend this company! From the time the sales person came to my house to the install. Our first experience was with Chris, the sales person, Chris, came to our house and explained the product and the processes. We decided to go ahead and proceed. We have had numerous companies in our house doing other work. We haven't had much luck until our decision to go with this company! From start to finish it was nothing but amazing and professional. When we first decided to get shutters we thought, let's do the minimum just in case they weren't good. Well this ended up with us eventually having them install every window in our house. I clicked update my review.  Not sure why it looks like I'm writing a new one.  I was quite impressed that Sunburst owned up to giving bad information, could articulate how that happened, and make an effort to make it right.  It says a lot about their character.  To be fair, they have fixed everything I've asked them to and the shutters made such a big difference in the appearance of my rooms.  It was so much more noticeable when I had to have them removed to replace the windows.  I'm still very happy with my purchase. We first used Sunburst Shutters in 2006 when we bought our first new house here in Las Vegas. In our previous homes we used various wood blinds, curtains,  etc. We decided to go with really nice window treatment this time. So we did our entire house with the polywood shutters from Sunburst. Wow! Beautiful and amazing. In 2012 we moved to another new house,  and without even considering anything else, we contacted Sunburst Shutters to do this new house. Unfortunately, we were not in the same financial position to do the entire house all at once. So we did the house in sections over a 6 year period of time. During that time, the manufacturing process changed. The last batch of shutters done a few months ago did not match what we already had. After attempting to get them to match, the only solution was to replace all the previous ones with new ones to match what was now the current product.  Darik (the Manager) stepped up and replaced all current shutters with new ones AT NO CHARGE!! Amazing Customer Service!! We now have our entire house with beautiful matching wonderful shutters. This is just further proof to us that using Sunburst Shutters was the best decision. We have recommended Sunburst to many friends,  who have used them and are extremely happy as well. Best Company! Best Product! Best Customer Service! I was in need of repairs to my Norman Invisible Tilt Plantation Shutters. I contacted Norman USA and was referred to a local dealer each of which could not help me with the T style spring pins I needed to make repairs. I was in a loop between Norman and their dealers, each referring me back to each other. After much frustration I contacted Sunburst Shutters. I spoke with Kim. She requested that I bring in the broken shutters which I did not purchase from Sunburst. Upon her inspection she realized that they didn’t have the parts I needed, however she offered me some spring pins and others and suggested a way to make repairs. With the parts she provided And a little ingenuity I was able to make repairs allowing the shutters to work as manufactured. Thank you very much for your excellent customer service Kim. I have had Sunburst shutters installed on two of my Las Vegas homes to date.  On our first property (an older home) I noticed a significant drop in my power bill after the install  and they still look brand new even though it's been close to 10 years. (No discoloration or warping).  On our new home Sunburst was amazing to work.  They came out and measured as soon as the sheetrock was in and then arranged installation for the day we got our new home keys.    Our beautiful shutters  were installed before we even moved in!   There really is no other company to go with in town.   You won't ever be disappointed when you go with Sunburst Shutters.
