One-on-one barbell based strength coaching and programming, following the Starting Strength methods. We offer introductory packages for those looking to start working the barbell at their gym, as well as form checks and programming for those already proficient with the barbell movements. I value strength and fitness highly, and consider it a part of my job (as a firefighter/paramedic) to get and stay strong. I recently had a baby (11weeks ago!) and as I get ready to return to the field, she was my go to for getting strong again. As a coach, Brittany is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, perceptive, and organized. She gives great instruction on a macro level (helping to understand the compound movements in general) all the way down to knowing what verbal cues to give to help correct small parts of each lift. It’s incredibly rewarding watching athletes of all ages reach a fuller potential and smash previous personal records. Strength training creates a mental toughness as well and it’s exciting to see my clients discover a sense of empowerment and evolve into more resilient humans.
