I absolutely love Annie Sloan! She is one of my heroes. I started using her paint 4 years ago and fell in love with it. It’s a beautiful good quality paint that has helped me transform old, dated and tired pieces of furniture into beautiful works of my art:) I have never tried any other chalk paint because I already use the best !!

If you are blessed to have a creative side or even if you think you don’t...and haven’t discovered the ease of Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan by now. ..you DO NOT know what you are missing! No prep..No mess... I call it like “painting with velvet”! Glorious color selection, virtually No Prep! That’s right... no sanding, no stripping...JUST PAINT! And..Soap and water clean up! And the coverage? My very first project ...24 of our Oak kitchen cabinets! 2 coats (1Qt can) is all it took! And Her natural bristle thick, oval brushes hold so much Paint I was able to cover the cabinet door, my first coat slightly watered down, then the 2nd coat sealed the deal! And it made all the difference in the world in the look! While some prefer her Laquer for sealing, I totally trusted her wax. I did cut corners and mix the Clear and the White wax together in equal parts, to slightly soften the Chateau Grey...which actually is a beautiful soft greenish/ grey color that I see a tad of a turquoise tint in. No strict rules to follow! Just your own imagination! Don’t know where to start? There are hundreds of Stockists Worldwide, of which In Your Dreams..., is one! We keep our shelves stocked weekly, can give you a first hand try with one of Annie’s Brushes, and that’s all it takes...and you are Hooked! And did I mention “No Prep Work”? Dust and/ or wipe down and you are ready to paint! Our Instagram and FB pages highlight many pieces by us and several customers work, also! It was a natural and easy transition for me as I opened my store 22 years ago by having my many “found” pieces painted and refinished locally. I actually was able to train in a studio right in the French Quarter in New Orleans with Stockists from all over the United States. We All definitely have a “mutual admiration society” for All things ANNIE! My joy now is sharing our ideas with so many customers who will drive near and far to get Annie’s products. More...
