Happy hour is AMAZING. Not a lot to choose for on the happy hour FOOD menu, but it's fine because what's offered is amazing! $7 happy hour?! Sunday's all day !! ‍ I've gone a few times alone and with coworkers. Service is always really good, they care if you like the drink, and will point you in the direction of what you might like. The cocktails are a little acidic so 3 is my maximum (probably should be anyway lol) but because they are so good it's hard to not want more!Dinner is amazing, i went once with my husbands business for a holiday party. We had a private room which was nice, only down to it was not a lot of space to mingle. But the food more than makes up for it!If you want a few drinks and bites-go to the bar, for a nice full meal, go to the dinner side. There's nothing here I've disliked, except for once it was late, and i didnt order another drink on time after last call...which was my own fault! Go there now! I'll be back soon! More...

Hosted a 35 person birthday dinner last night (11/16). Excellent service which is unusual for large groups. Blaire who coordinated the event could not have done a better job. The food was excellent and I received many compliments. Courtney, Shannon and other 2 ladies (sorry can't remember their names) were outstanding also.Hard to find anything wrong with the event but I will. Here goes, Sullivan's like many restaurants are starting to assess another charge beyond taxes and gratuities which are legit. They call it an Admin fee. This is akin to a hotel resort fee which is also not fair but I guess legal. In my opinion, if you need to increase the cost to be profitable and run a successful business just be up-front and increase the menu prices. I would love for someone to justify this extra fee? This fee would have normally caused me to remove a star but the service was so good I am keeping it in. Sullivan's Management, you should thank our waitstaff.Chris M. More...

Just ate here for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The place is very approachable for a steakhouse and works for casual meals or something special. I appreciated the decor and the light levels. There was a live band in the lounge area, as we were seated in the dining room I couldn't hear it much. As a music lover I do wish they had some speakers in the dining room for that. But that's a minor thing to consider.Our server, Jess, was fantastic. Ask for her tables if you can. My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary here and we couldn't have been more thankful that we chose this place to create such special memories. To start, our table was decorated with rose petals and a sweet card before we arrived. Our servers were extremely attentive and friendly. We started with salads, the caesar for me and he inhaled the wedge (seriously I don't think he came up for air. You'd think I don't feed him!!). My husband enjoyed a traditional old fashioned cocktail he said was amazing the cowboy cut bone-in rib eye cooked to perfection (& even had to take some home because it was so huge which I'm pretty sure is a first for him). I chose the king crab legs (one of my pregnancy cravings!). We shared the brussel sprouts and cheddar & bacon au gratin potatoes. The bartender even made me a delightful virgin cocktail that tasted like a vacation in Hawaii! We shared the bread pudding dessert and left stuffed!! They were so kind to take our photo and present it to us in a signed frame before we departed. I truly thank them for making us feel special on our anniversary and we look forward to making this our tradition! We ate at the bar.  Came in at 4pm (still on EST!) for Happy Hour and ended up just staying there for dinner because our waitress, Ashley was so awesome! Long list of appetizers and mixed drinks are all $7 during Happy Hour.  An amazing deal!We also had the rib eye steak, Oscar style (tons of lump crab).  We will definitely be back!Tip: Costco in Rancho Mirage sells 2 $50 gift cards for $80, so a total win-win situation here. Excellent. We were celebrating our four year anniversary and from the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm smile and a happy anniversary greeting. We arrived early and we decided to have a couple of drinks and appetizers in the bar area. They had live music which was awesome because it set the mood for the night. Excellent music. We had the Knockout drink and my wife says it was delicious. We shared a place of cheesesteak egg rolls. Delicious! We sat at our table and we were handed a hand written note saying happy anniversary.  Nice touch.We shared a porterhouse steak for two 28 oz. Overall it was an excellent experience. Sunday afternoon happy hour is relaxed and full of tasty fare. The Pig in the park Bloody Mary made by the beautiful and talented bartender Peggy is a meal in a glass and perfect for a warm desert afternoon and I highly recommend the Poke shooters....relax

Hubby picked this place for our 8 year anniversary. I have never experienced such great customer service. I made the reservation for us and mentioned that it was our anniversary on the comments. I never expected them to treat us so special the night we went. They displayed rose petals and a happy anniversary card from the staff. They gave our desserts with happy anniversary in chocolate (the cheesecake was really good). In addition to great customer service, the food was great and filling. Met my attorney for dinner here for the first time.This place gets real busy so I recommend  you make a reservation for dinner. We were greeted by our host and was seated in a booth near the kitchen.Our server introduced herself and told us she was new. I was prepared for the worst but quite the contrary, she made our dinner a memorable one. She went over the menu, the specials, and she brought a huge plate of steaks to choose from. She was great! I believe our server's name was Marissa?...I think that was her name. We ordered the ahi appetizer, oysters, wedge salad, 2 filet mignon, lobster bisque, side of asparagus and horse radish mash potato. You get a complimentary steak sauce with your steak...it was the burnaise butter sauce for me. (Check out the pics)The food was amazing...the steaks were cooked to perfection and the meat was juicy and seasoned just right and melted in my mouth.After dinner, our server recommended the  nutella creme brulee and the banana foster a la mode. It was orgasmic lol!My cheat day hahaha!Great service, great food! Our server was great for being new. Sullivan's gained a great asset to the company.***Sullivan has a cocktail called the "KNOCKOUT" which is a pineapple concoction in which they are known for. If you like pineapples, this drink is for you. We had the knockout, gin and tonic and a couple glasses of wine as well.I will definitely be back and actually made a reservation on Monday, July 1st 2019.I'm bringing my out of town guests that day. Was on a 24hr staycation trip with my husband and we came across this place on a late night search for a steak house.... we were not disappointed! Sat outside in the evening and had a lovely waitress help us. The meal we got was split for us and worth every bite we took. Got the cheese potatoes, lettuce wedge salad & bone in ribeye!! What a night, came here on a friday 5th place to try every restaurant on El Paseo was closed for the summer or closed for the night. I & a plus one arrived around 9ish the host was super welcoming after I vented about every place being shit down. Ashley our server was AMAZING. All we wanted was a glass of wine and she helped choose with a nice selection + my clumsy self had a spill over & was right there quickly to clean up, boy does she know her area on town. I first came here with my husband for our wedding anniversary last year and we made a commitment that every time we are in town we are dining here because the food and experience were beyond amazing.  We got lucky and arrived during their restaurant week which was amazing, so much food and you get so much for your money.  For $39 we received a caesar salad which was creamy and crisp, an 8oz filet mignon with horseradish mashed potatoes and crispy green beans and for dessert I chose the banana bread putting with ice cream. I am from LA and there no way you can get such a delicious, good quality dinner for that price on Dine LA week.  I am coming back in July with the family and can't wait.Must try: Calamari - Sweet and Spicy and nice and crispy More...
