I cannot thank Jackie enough! I ordered a babyshower cake for my elephant themed shower and it came out amazing. I sent Jackie a photo of what I wanted and it came out so much better than the photo. Everyone loved the look and taste of the cake. Jackie really communicated with me throughout the entire process which was greatly appreciated. I found Sugar Salt & Crumbs scouring through Yelp and I'm so happy I did! Talking with and meeting Jackie was great, and she really delivered on the tasting. (Her chocolate chip cookies would blow you away). Her cakes are so pretty, but they're even more delicious! My husband and I ordered some brownies and two-tier cake, with the top being matcha and the bottom layer was lemon. Truth be told, my sweet husband only let me get the matcha because I love that flavor even though he doesn't, but when we took a bite of our wedding cake he was totally blown away. My friends on the other hand were telling me how the lemon layer was the best they've ever had! Now we're trying to find excuses to order more from Jackie... so maybe we'll just order a whole other cake for our anniversary instead! First of all, Jackyln is one of the sweetest person I have ever met. She is extremely easy to work with and was always available to answer any questions I had. What was even more impressive, was the beautiful cake she created for me on my wedding day. I had told her the style I was going for and the theme of my wedding and she created a masterpiece out of it. I had also order a chocolate sheet cake and my guests are still talking about how delicious and moist it was. I am so happy that they were just as impressed as I was. Sooo impressed!! For my baby shower, I hired Jackie from Sugar Salt & Crumbs and I am so glad that I did. From the moment I contacted her, she has been so responsive and accommodating. I showed her a picture of a cake I wanted from Pinterest and gave her all the small details for the cake I envisioned -- she definitely delivered! From the design to the cake flavors and even the filling, everything was customized. She also makes the most ADORABLE sugar cookies. They were such a hit! I was lucky enough to buy a rosette ombré cake from Sugar Salt & Crumbs. It was not only soooo delicious but so beautiful as well. The guest at the party couldn't stop "oowing" & "aawing" about how beautiful it was!!Also, I can't say enough about how great the service was. I used Jackie's services for my daughter's 1st Birthday. I ordered a 2 tier cake, smash cake, custom cookies and also some of her sea salt chocolate chip cookies. Communication was best via phone/text vs email for discussing order details. Pricing was expected for custom items and quality ingredients. FYI, her location now is Anaheim rather than Upland (which is what Yelp says). I opted to pick up the items at a location she chose. Everything was packaged appropriately for transport.The cake decoration was very pretty and what we had discussed. The cake itself was moist. A lot of guests liked the strawberry cake with strawberry cream. Her chocolate chip cookies were absolutely delicious. Moist and slightly chewy, but not too sweet. Must try! I requested a simple cake for my sister's baby shower and Jackie made it happen. Because I was coming from out of town for the event, she went out of her way to meet me at a central location to drop the cake. I was lucky enough to find Jackie to do some custom gluten-free baking for a few upcoming occasions and she did not disappoint! Hands down the best baking and cookies I've ever had in the past from any category- including gluten and gluten free things I've had! Among some custom items she put together, her classic chocolate chip cookie and lavender white chocolate chip cookies were to die for and far exceeded my expectations for gluten-free cookies! She is clearly obsessed with perfecting her cookies and it shows in her baking! One of the things that sets her apart though is her creativity and ability to make my ideas come to life; she was fun and easy to work with, and left me with a number of ideas for future flavors which I'll definitely be taking her up on! "CENTERPIECE" - that's what comes to mind when we think about a word to describe the beautiful wedding cake that we received from Jackie of Sugar Salt & Crumbs! Did Jackie summon herself ethereally to the venue? Does she possess elven abilities to speak to flora and fauna? It's as if the forest summoned its culinary masters to gift us the perfectly baked cake. All hyperbole aside, our wedding venue was surrounded by forest trees and florals, so we wanted to work with someone that had an imaginative sensibility, to create something that was simple and elegant (we weren't looking for lavish), and blended well with an outdoor rustic theme. After some pleasant brainstorming calls with Jackie, who patiently took in the ambiguous and scattered ideas that we had floating in our heads, what we ultimately received on our wedding day, to put it simply... the cake of our dreams. If the cake stood alone on aesthetics, that would have been enough. But countless guests couldn't stop remarking on its unforgettable green tea and honey decadence. If this was a dessert available at anyone one of the fancy dessert and bakery shops around Los Angeles, I'm sure lines would follow. Thank you again to Sugar Salt & Crumbs, you've outdone yourself!
