About

I'm not just a "technician" with services to offer. I've started and run successful companies, including an Inc. 5000 business. I know what it means to make payroll with my own money or credit cards, or to buy critical supplies to keep the business running.

I love the endlessly creative nature of small business. I love how it creates new, satisfying lives for the owners and employees, how it helps clients creatively solve problems that they often think can't be solved. Although the term has been overused, I love hearing those "aha" moments from clients when they overcome an obstacle or see how something is coming together.

Then there is the creative nature of the content itself...visual content, videos, blog articles, web page content, email and print newsletters. I love the act of creating these projects. It's rewarding to bring into being a thing that helps others succeed.

I was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug at the age of 12 when I began selling flower seeds and delivering grocery store fliers door-to-door.

I didn't have an allowance and he figured I had to work to get the vital things I needed as a curious teen—books, flying lessons, radio control airplanes, and money for the game arcade at the new mall.

I never lost that bug for business as I started a career in printing, first as an employee, and later as a business owner.

My real-world experience at starting and growing profitable businesses gives my clients solid backing and insight that they won't get from technicians who have never owned a business.

All of our work can be done online or remotely. We use phone calls, Zoom calls and email to communicate and plan.

Since all our work in remote, we don't have to worry about Covid issues.

Services

Clients are often surprised to learn they can get started in video marketing without any video skills, without hiring a film crew, without ever having to appear on camera, and without having a big budget.

I have more than 1,000 video templates that can be quickly customized for your business. This keeps entry-level costs low and can get your videos working for you in a matter of days.

Or we can create fully custom videos from the ground up.

I start with the video strategy. What do you want to accomplish?

We then create a search-engine optimized video script.

Then we create your video or series of videos.

Most importantly, I get your videos to rank at the top of search results with our comprehensive 17-Point video checklist. Which means you show up ahead of competitors (who are probably not using video.) Your videos appear when and where your clients are looking.

We can customize a plan for your company. Or get a quick start with our CareerBrandVideosâ„¢ series of personal branding video.

Staying in regular touch with clients and prospects is proven to increase revenue. And selling to current customers is one of the fastest and easiest sales growth techniques.

If you don't have time or the skilled writing staff to handle it, we can do it for you, as little or as much as you want.

The typical business owner I talk to, who has never bothered with "local search," is leaving 5 to 6 figures in revenue per month on the table.

If your competitors are getting a big slice of your business, I can troubleshoot the reasons why.

If you already know what needs to be done, but don't have time to get to it, I can take that work off your plate.

We implement our systematic Local Search process to get your company to show up when and where your customers are looking.

Content continues to be a vital factor in keeping your website and blog at the top of relevant search results. The right kind of evergreen content can attract customers and drive traffic for years.

I can work with you to develop a strategy. We then write and optimize the content and look at ways to re-purpose in other channels.

Facebook is especially important to local brick and mortar companies.

It is often the first place local consumers turn to find out about a business.

They might discover the company on Google, but they turn to Facebook to see what their friends and family have to say about their experience with that business, before they head out the door for a visit.

In fact, a comprehensive study from Hootsuite and We Are Social's Digital 2021 Report confirmed that social networks are firmly in place right after Google for brand research. And the trend is growing.

Our Local Social Linkâ„¢ process combines visual content with customer referrals to put you in front of clients at exactly the moment they are searching to solve a problem that your products and services can provide.

It actively attracts and engages your prospects, then gets clients to refer your company to all their connected friends. It all happens systematically on your Facebook company page.

I analyze your customer lifecycle. Then we collaborate on ways to automate and streamline wherever possible.

I help you...

* Capture and convert leads more efficiently.
* Follow up and get paid faster
* Consolidate lead capture, email, invoicing and ecommerce in one place

A primary goal with this approach is to put more money in your pocket quickly, without adding staff, equipment, or other expenses.

Mature companies frequently get some of their biggest gains here, by improving profit margins and streamlining operations.

Startup small businesses can avoid costly growth pains by building the right framework right from the beginning. This also lets them scale up with ease.
