I’ve done two decathlons here. My background: I’m recovered from disordered eating and really struggle with body image, and I have an invisible disability that wasn’t diagnosed until I was in my late teens that always held me back in sports and PE classes- I’ve stayed away from competitive athletics as an adult because of all the shame and anxiety I’ve experienced in the gym. I let a friend talk me into the first decathlon and all the staff were so encouraging; they told me how to fix my form and push myself at each event but they also told me what I was doing right and cheered me on. I finished each competition feeling like I’d done something to be proud of! I definitely recommend Success to anyone who is anxious or embarrassed to work with a trainer or a fitness program; the staff will support you in whatever way you need! More...

In the past, I joined a big gym with a year contract and only went twice. I was intimidated by others, their gym knowledge and how to use the gym equipment. I started personal training with Alex. He took the time to break the ice to get me comfortable with him. Alex gracefully answers all my ridiculous questions about gym etiquette and how to use the equipment. We help clients achieve their goals by integrating fitness, nutritional habits, sleep, stress, and water management into their life with ease.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
First is consistency, then is hard work in the gym, and finally balancing sleep stress and water. With all 5 aspect in line you can do anything you want with your body. We look into each area for a person to help then create the change needed.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing people progress and succeed. Watching the growth of a person and watching how their confidence grows. Helping others is one of the most gratifying things you can do!
What inspired you to start your own business?
What inspired me the most to start my own business was when my son was in the hospital with leukemia and lymphoma, I realized that being healthy and fit was one of the most important things.
