Single mom interviewing photo studios for my kids Senior Pictures. I wanted to stay in Oshkosh, bc we know the area well enough to pick good shoot locations. We really liked Katy Frey & Studio 708! Katy was very open minded, relaxed, had a great attitude, & really does some great work :). Katy is really accommodating, she pays attention to her clients. Omg, Senior Pictures are expensive regardless of where you go. I saw no basic package under $1000 anywhere, so get ready for that! You need to make an appointment with Katy/Studio 708 to discuss pricing. This is good, bc you can decide what's in your budget & create your own package if you need to. Katy also does a complimentary family mini session with the senior shoots. That's pretty gracious, so make sure to appreciate the extra photos! There are actually a Lot of talented photographers in the area, I was surprised how many; but myself & my senior felt comfortable with Katy, & that's really important to us & to be able to get the natural 'true to you' photos we're all looking for for this big moment :). 708 Studio did an amazing job on my maternity and my little girls newborn pictures. Katy did both of them and did amazing. I didn’t know what I wanted to do so I let her take control and she nailed everything. Brilliant minds with ideas. Tim and Katy together did my little girl Millie’s newborn pictures and they were amazingly patient with her when we couldn’t get her to fall asleep for awhile. My husband and I had plans to meet with several photographers at different price points to find the best fit for our budget and our needs. Studio 708 were the first photographers that I had met with. When I walked out of their studio I called and cancelled my other meetings. The instant energy I felt from Tim and Katy had me sold. From that point on I had zero doubts with the choice we made. My wedding came 8 months later on June 3, 2017. Katy and Tim showed up early to set up, were amazing to work with and even stayed to capture some priceless shots! All of our wedding party and family spoke so highly of them both saying that they were such a wonderful addition to our day! When planning my 2014 wedding I searched for a photographer for a long time. While looking through sample pictures I couldn't seem to find pictures that I loved more than Katy's (Charizma Photography at the time. ) After meeting with her I knew she'd be the perfect fit. Katy was beyond accommodating throughout my whole planning process. She even agreed to take my engagement pictures up north-which I had dreamed of since I was about 10! She was willing to do whatever it took to get great pictures that day including: carting her equipment around on a boat, getting in the water and being patient enough to travel to my favorite spots. On our wedding day she was just as accommodating and did I mention she was pregnant!? And it was hot outside!
