This place is not only beautiful and a great set up, but they are extremely accommodating too! My hair and makeup appointments were cancelled a month before my wedding day. They fit my bridesmaids and myself in with hair appointments and helped up get connected to the Sugar Spa for our makeup! The staff is friendly and professional. The stylists were great at their job and you could tell they cared about making the day great! Thank you to all who saved my wedding day! I wanted to cry "lol the good kind" when I saw how gorgeous my hair looked. I had a vision and Madison exceeded my expectations. I felt much more excited about my day due to the masterpiece that was structured in my hair. Madison is often labeled as the person who does amazing braids, but she is talented in all of her updos. I absolutely recommend her if you want your dream wedding hair. Make sure you do a trial first. I actually liked my trial hair. I have been coming here regularly for the past year since moving to the area. I absolutely love coming here!! The owner Dan is so gregarious, he comes around and makes sure everyone feels welcome. It is very family friendly-my two sons come with me for my appointments and when I say I have a hair appointment they BEG to come with me for the snacks and music; they have little dance-offs and entertain everyone getting their hair done. followed my stylist, Kimberly Hughes, to this salon. First off, Kim is amazing. When she does my hair (blond highlights and a cut) strangers comment on how great my hair look and ask where I went and who did it. As far as the salon itself, it's very inviting. The front desk staff are very friendly, I've never had a problem making an appointment and there are tons of goodies for a client to enjoy. They have wine, beer, cookies, a popcorn machine, multiple kinds of soda, you name it. Over the years when my husband and I had to go through some rough financial times, my hair was always the first thing to suffer because I wouldn't be able to go to my amazing stylist and buddy Kim. And the cost that she could charge if she wanted to could be much, much higher with the talent and skill she has. Luckily for me, I finally got a raise at work, so Kim and Studio Raw are stuck with me. My daughter got a Brazilian Blowout, she is biracial with long THICK curly hair... It took much longer than anticipated but when I get her hair done it usually takes longer. I was so impressed with everyone jumping in and helping! The owner made it a point to come over and chat, joke around with us... really nice guy!! I was a little star stuck lol I’ve been following this salon’s facebook for years, so I knew exactly who he was! First time here yesterday. First of all the studio is gorgeous inside! I was greeted and checked in quickly, even though there was a line at the front desk. I was shown to the lounge by Jodi and she offered me a drink. So welcoming. I cant say enough amazing things about Hannah! She is seriously the first stylist to ever give me the results I wanted! She listened to what I wanted, gave me her professional opinion and some options, and the end result was absolutely perfect! I will never go to anyone else again! She was fantastic! While I was getting washed out, the owner Dan came by to just say hello to some of us in the chairs, you can tell he takes pride in his business and he should! Studio Raw is most definitely ELITE! I have been coming here for 6 years or so now. And I have gone to half of the people in the salon because I trust all of them equally! Which is so hard to come by at a salon. Their friendly and welcoming atmosphere is what made me want to work at Sugar Spa (below studio raw). My sisters, mom, and I have had everything from cuts to color to prom hair to just an every day styling here and have never left feeling unsatisfied. Dan along with every staff member has a great energy about them that makes the whole experience that much better! Studio Raw Elite is a fun, upbeat place to go. All of the people are very nice and the atmosphere is awesome. Dan Burda is the most giving person I’ve ever met. I look forward to the couple of hours I spend with him every month. I was one of his first clients when he first began and we have grown very close. I love to help out when he is doing community service projects or just Sunday morning staircase runs throughout the city. We always have a great time together. I’m 35 years old and Erina gave me the best hair cut I’ve ever had in my life. I had long damaged hair and she took off just enough to clean up my split ends all while keeping my length and added the perfect amount of layers and lilac peekaboo highlights giving my hair just enough of an edge. The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel right at home. It was the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had at a hair studio. I love Studio Raw, its owner (Dan), front desk, assistants, and most especially, the stylists. I personally see Kristy (saw Kelly before she moved) and have had Dan cut my hair as well in a pinch! You will feel accepted, loved, pampered, and welcomed. Truly a #compassionatetogether #loveisall #loveforall ️‍ kind of place. Moreover, Dan and his crew do so much for the community. I have been meaning to write this review for a while. Amy did my hair for my wedding and beyond doing a really nice job with my super long hair she went above and beyond what I would ever expect. Amy stayed long after she finished my hair to make sure I was taken care of, helped me get in my dress, then helped me though a dress meltdown. she even went so far as to offer to cook me something since I hadn't eaten. As always, because I know some of the people here - I schedule because of how much I trust this place. Ashley was my hairstylist yesterday and she truly listened to me when I asked her if she could help blend in my colors! She gave me a BEAUTIFUL purple black color and I just love it so much - not only that but she evened out my hair and made my hair feel really healthy again - which was a big plus considering that I always had dull hair when I did it myself. I have been getting my hair cut by Kim for about seven years now. She is absolutely fantastic. I have never had a bad experience with her. I think she is an absolute genius with hair. I have since sent my mom and my husband to her for their haircuts. Everyone now says that their hair has never looked better. One of my friends saw my husband right after his first hair cut with her and the first thing she told him was that his hair looked great. That's how good she is! She recently did my hair for my wedding and it was perfect. Friends told me it looked like a design from Pinterest! She is friendly, smart and funny. Studio Raw itself is also fantastic.
