Studio One photographed my daughter's wedding on Saturday. From the start, they were helpful and accommodating. Mark, our photographer, was absolutely amazing! He helped calm a nervous bride and drove through horrible weather to get to the venue. He listened to people asking for requests for pictures (especially the mother of the bride!) Pricing was great compared to the other places we checked out. They also guided us to a photo booth (which was awesome and so much fun!...Crystal Bells). The photographer was fantastic. Got all the group shots and area shots I wanted on my wedding day. There were some "family" pictures of brother in law and girlfriends that I didn't feel like I should have been paying for but I can see why they were taken. I typically never write reviews, but I felt I had to for Studio One. For starters, Mark was an AMAZING photographer and was so easy going.
One of a brides' biggest concerns on the wedding day are the pictures. I was beyond nervous on how they would turn out. All of that anxiety faded away when I met Mark. His artistic nature is a true gift. He was not afraid to suggest different poses and different shots, while also being conscious of your needs and wants. He made what I thought would be the scariest part of the wedding, one of the BEST parts. I felt like an absolute princess. He is a must have!!!
Leon, was also great! He is the go to guy if you have any question or request throughout the process. He was so helpful and attentive. Every time I talked to him over the phone he was pleasant and professional. I really just can not say enough about Studio One. If you are looking for good people, good pricing, and quality pictures you must book them!!

Dave at Studio One did our wedding photographs. He was absolutely amazing! Our photos turned out awesome and he incorporated all of my Pinterest ideas. He captured great moments. The turn around for the pictures was so speedy that we were able to view them within 2 weeks of our wedding! I would highly recommend Dave at Studio One. He was super creative and easy to work with. I would totally recommend you to use this company. We worked with Leon and Laura out of the Lindenhurst location -- both were fantastic! Leon did our initial appointment and introduced us to their packages, and Laura did both our engagement session, as well as our wedding & reception. My new husband hates having his picture taken, and Laura was wonderful about making him feel relaxed and at ease. I wish I wasn't typing on my phone so I could write a 4 part series about how fantastic they were! Laura was a photographer in a blizzard in January and beat us all to the venue, I was impressed to say the least. she was so polite, I could hardly stand it. She worked efficiently and was just fantastic. I have nothing but fantastic remarks about her and was incredibly pleased with how our pictures turned out. They were just perfect! Mark was a wonderful photographer!! He checked in with us before the wedding to make sure everything was ready for our day. He gave suggestions for photo locations when we were unsure, and showed us many of the pictures that he took to make sure we liked what he took. He had a great eye for what looked good, he gave good direction. He got along with everyone and complemented our personalities. Laura with Studio One was fantastic! With more than a decade of experience and well over 700 weddings under her belt, it was obvious that she knew what she was doing.
She worked quickly; no standing around for hours in the hot sun. She had a list of "must-have" people, and quickly instructed people in and out so that we (the bride and groom) could actually enjoy our cocktail hour with our guests. She was open to any ideas that we had for photos, and was incredibly flexible when we asked to include additional people or poses. During the reception, she was right in the middle of the dancing action, snapping shots of our guests having a good time. Yet, she did so without being intrusive; our guests don't even remember her being there (even the ones that hate having their photo taken)!
We recieved SO many compliments on how kind she was and how clear it was that she knew what she was doing based on the way she worked. If I ever have another event that requires photography, I know who I will be calling!

Studio One was awesome and our photographer Dave Schmidt was amazing. He was on time, professional, and fun to work with. He answered our phone calls the same day, and listened to what kind of photos we wanted at our wedding . Studio one has multiple locations throughout Chicago.
I had dave come down to Wheaton/Naperville from Crystal lake because i have a friend who used to work at the Crystal Lake location. The Crystal Lake location was MUCH more reasonable in price compared to the Naperville location.
They did take a REALLY long time to get my album to me. but then they gave us our wedding proofs for free...so that really made up for that.
I would recommend them.
