We have collaborated with Jay Sherlock on several projects in San Francisco. Projects include an entire backyard remodel and roof deck addition to a complete interior remodel. Jay and his staff are extremely professional, fun and easy to work with. They are open to collaborative ideas, and always have the client's best interest in mind. Jay has been able to work magic with the building department and has gotten us over the counter permits when we did not think it was possible. In my structural engineering practice we come across very few architects who 'get it' (from our perspective). Â Studio J is imaginative and thinks outside the box but they are practical and realistic. Â By the time a design comes across our desk it has already been sold to the client.
