We hired Tatum and Studio Hus to provide design services in connection with a major kitchen remodel (residential), as well as a complete re-conception (design/decoration) of the entire living area of our home. The project from design concept through construction and completion was about 7-8 months. The team was amazing to work with and Tatum is an unbelievably talented designer. She listened to what we had to say and worked with us to imagine and then create the home environment we were looking for and were sorely lacking before her. There comes a time when you realize you’re a grownup and you need grownup furniture that doesn’t come from big box retailers in various shades of beige. When that time comes, call Tatum at Studio Hus. Your cool factor will go up 1000%. You won’t regret it. Even better, your home will be worth more when she's done with it.

We were newbies. We’d never worked with a designer before. We were those annoying new clients who had no idea what we were doing. But Tatum held our hands through the whole process and we learned so much. What felt like sticker shock in the beginning became well worth the investment in the end. We are totally in love with our home.

Some highlights:
- When people come over, all they talk about is how cool the patchwork Kilim stair runner is. Who knew a stair runner would steal the show?
- Thanks to a cool pendant light hanging in the kitchen, people never notice the dirty dishes in the sink.
- We finally have a dog bed that Ranger wants to sleep on. Now only occasionally do we catch him on the Italian sofa. Apparently he has good taste.
- Everyday I wake up and thank God we spent our savings to have Tatum design our bedroom.
