I had been looking to get a DevaCut for a while since I’ve been using DevaCurl products for the past year and Roz did not disappoint! She was absolutely lovely and made me feel very comfortable after a lot of bad hair stylist experiences. She took the time to explain every step thoroughly and made sure I knew it well enough to do at home by myself later. I had previously gone to another salon to dye my hair silver/gray and did not get the result I wanted at all. Carolyn was absolutely amazing and so was the entire staff. Everyone was friendly and kind and the atmosphere was calm but still upbeat and fun. The final result exceeded any expectations I could have had. I just finished up my appointment at Studio C with Carolyn and let me just tell you, it was fantastic. She saved my hair after it was messed up by another stylist elsewhere and I could not be happier. You can very clearly tell that they put their heart and soul into what they do and they listen and care about you and what you want with your hair. I was not a scheduled appointment but she was able to fit me in and while that might not be the case for everybody due to scheduling, I was very lucky that they were able to accommodate me. But over all I was just blown away by the passion, kindness and sense of community within her salon that showed through all of the stylists there. The talent there is overflowing. My color is spectacular. It is exactly what I wanted, and she gave me the best cut that I have had in a super long time- if not in my life. She listened and heard me when I expressed what I wanted to see come out of my hair. And I feel more confident now than I ever have before. They are spectacular. 15 out of 10. I had my second hair appointment here and I knew I just had to give this business some Yelper love! First of all, Studio C is not your typical hair salon. It's soo much better! Carolyn and her team are a group of highly talented, creative and attentive stylists. The salon itself if uniquely decorated, with a fun yet relaxing vibe. I had my hair done by Krizia who is a breath of fresh air. She literally transformed my look with careful consideration of my hair goals and needs, plus adding the extra touch of love and kindness through her work. She talked me through every single step in the process, she educated me and gave me advice with ongoing hair care. My end results were amazing! I absolutely LOVE my cut and highlights. She knew what I wanted more than I did! And that's what makes her an expert in my book. I also noticed and loved that these ladies work together and consult each other on clients' hair goals. It's truly a team effort at this salon, and that made me so much more at ease. Trusting someone with your hair is not an easy thing to do, especially if you're someone like me who rarely gets anything done to it. I knew it was time for a change but I was still scared. I made an appointment with Carolyn to give my hair a new look. Not only was she a wonderful stylist, but her entire staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. I was offered me coffee, water or snacks if I needed. Carolyn worked with me to understand what I specifically wanted to do to correct my hair color and formulate a plan and price that met my needs. Turns out the color wasn't being framed around my face, so we brightened it up and got it to glow. My favorite salon everrrrrr (and I’ve lived in many cities across four states). I drive an hour each way for this salon, and I will be a client for life! It’s warm and welcoming and so not your typical boring place, it has a warm and sleek city loft atmosphere. The entire tribe at Studio C is phenomenal. I have been coming here for nearly three years now and they feel like family. I go in with an open mind and am open to fun colors (perks of bartending) and have yet to be anything less than blown away. I’ve had conservative blonde done beautifully here too. Go. See. Them. I’ve been coming to this salon for almost 6 months now and my stylist, Nikki, does not let me down! I came in looking like I had hay on my head. ..then Nikki made me look like a goddess! I had horrible split ends and my hair was a million colors, now I feel amazing with my healthy, beautiful mane! She is absolutely wonderful and her prices are great. You get more and better than what you pay for. She is so sweet and will accommodate any of your needs. The place also has refreshments and snacks for those just getting off work, which is nice. Kori did my first ever deva cut and for real, changed my life. I never knew how to take of my hair, what products to use, or how to get it to look it's best. I thought my hair would just look meh (half wavy, half straight ) forever. Turns out, I had the wrong hair cut and was using the wrong products and techniques by a lot. She gave me a great cut and showed be a wash and go style as well as a style with a diffuser. When I washed my hair next, I was nervous. Would I be able to replicate what kori did? I was used to getting my hair done at the salon and having one good hair day and then going back to the struggle. I replicated what kori did with my hair in the 10 minute wash and go routine she showed me. My hair looked amazing and like I used a hair wand on it. When in fact, I didn't use any hot tools! Kori has changed my hair life because it's been a struggle to look presentable since forever. I will be back to Kori for sure and if she ever moves, I may have to follow her. More...

The owner Carolyn had learned I was not happy with the haircut I received. It is most clearly a top priority of hers that her customers are completely satisfied in every way. To my surprise she contacted me immediately and personally went above and beyond to make things better. I just can't say enough about this dear woman. All I can say is AMAZING!!!!!! Took my 8 year old autistic son to get a haircut and normally it’s a horrible experience for him. This is my first time here and he has no complained at all. Caroline and the whole staff at Studio C really know the difference between just good service and what true hospitality is supposed to be. I have been getting my haircut by Caroline for well over a year now and have never had a bad cut or experience. I have recently had my twentysomething year old son come back into my life after years of being on the street. He had not had a haircut in over 10 years and had grown his dreadlocks all the way down his back. When he decided to change his life he also decided to cut his mane. It was his first day back when we visited and he was incredibly nervous and unsure as he sat in her chair. The vibe atmosphere is always pleasant and comfortable at Studio C no matter who you encounter. Kori is my stylist. I usually have my hair cut and colored every 4-6 weeks. Before coming to Carolyn I got a HORRIBLE bleach job that left my hair elastic and basically untouchable...from a professional! ! had to chop inches off. I then had a few grays come in and decided to box color myself never trusting anyone else to touch my head again. After a while i stopped to just let my natural hair grow and heal for months.I share this to explain what it was i showed up with for Carolyn to solve. Natural roots, boxed brown in the middle and bleached ends. I explained my history and my current wishes and Carolyn was patient, explained what the process would be, the cost and gave me options. Great haircut!  I took a chance and tried this salon as I'm new to the area. Carolyn was awesome. She's friendly and made me feel at ease. I have fine, thin and damaged hair I'm trying to grow out and she magically managed to cut about two inches off it without impairing my ability to pull it back. I took my daughter to see Carolyn today to correct some color she had done and she was amazing! Not only did she have a great personality, but so did the other stylist working in her salon. When we arrived she explained everything in detail that we needed in order to correct my daughters color. Prior to even beginning she gave me quote which I felt was extremely professional because we needed a little more than your typical color & style.
