Similar to Alan Cutler below, I had an AMAZING experience at Studio Arto Friday August 31st. The owner, Sergey was so respectful, Super helpful and very friendly. Upon arrival, he graciously rented his 24-70mm lens, he helped us set up the studio light and he also greeted my team members and I warmly. It was very evident that Sergey was a seasoned photographer because we cracked jokes on a few production questions I had and he made me feel at ease. I did a 2 hour model shoot at StudioArto the morning of Friday, August 24th, 2018. I was given a key code before the shoot to enter the studio. Once in the studio, I was able to set the thermostat to the temperature I wanted. The studio was large enough for my needs, and had all the electrical outlets I needed. Early in the shoot, the owner, Sergey, showed up to make sure everything was okay. He offered me the use of his suspended background light, which he set up. This light was very convienent and worked out well. When the shoot was over, Sergey returned and helped my carry my equipment to my car. My go-to studio in the Washington, DC area. Great space. Lots of props. Fabulous owner. Very loyal to this place and honestly haven't found anything better (and I've worked at most of the studios in the DC and VA areas).
