David did a wonderful color to brighten my natural blonde. This was my first time to Studio A and having much reservation finding a new stylist I felt relieved and comfortable immediately with David. The only thing I would not rate highly is the fees, they are a bit overinflated( cut 133, I had a trim not much cut) I speak as a global and international traveler. I originally booked in with Yesenia because she is the brazillian blowout expert, and she truly lived up to the title. The brazillian blowout is not a perm like treatment, it is a keratin smoothing treatment and it truly has made the world of a difference for my hair living in Houston. My style time is cut down by atleast half and my hair stays smooth and frizz free for months! It took me a while to find a salon and stylist I like and trust in Houston. The first time I went to Connie was to fix a bad dye and cut job that another woman at another salon had given me. One of those hairstyles and colors that only looks good THAT day styled in THAT way. Connie listened to my wishes and daily regimen and gave me a cut that I was happy with for weeks afterward. I've seen her twice now and even after a week or more of doing nothing but washing and letting my hair air-dry, I get tons of compliments on the cut and I'm happy with my reflection. This place is a gem to find in a big city. After the long search, I finally found a place that doesn't over process my hair and has amazing high end quality extensions. I'm obsessed with this salon and the way they have transformed my hair. My hair is healthier, longer, and more glamorous. I started going to David about a year ago and he is an artist and I have been very happy with the color and extensions. This place is great! I usually just go to a run of the mill place like Great Clips or Sports Clips so this was one of my first experiences with a Salon. My stylist, Dane, took great care of me and was very detailed with my hair. The staff is very friendly and complimentary beverages are provided. Good music, nice location in a luxurious older house right off of Sunset blvd. The owner, David, came by to make sure everything was going OK and I left feeling brand new. Four months ago, I was looking for a great salon and stylist that could Balayage. I was hesitant, as I've had bad experiences before with color and cuts, so I took to Google to read many reviews of many salons both in Houston and out in Katy where I live, searching for a great salon (especially for the Balayage). I found Studio A Salon off of Sunset and read the reviews for the salon and all of the stylists. One of the most recent reviews, at that time, was for Connie, as the reviewer was just as hesitant as I was, yet she was so happy with how she walked her through the decision making process and loved the outcome. I decided then to book an appointment with Connie through their easy online appointment process. I went in with pictures of what I liked and wanted for the Balayage, haircut and style in early July and "I can not say enough about how good she is"!!! I have been going to Jesse for about a year for hair cuts and styling. Jesse is great at his job and I have always been happy when I leave with how my hair looks. He is very detail oriented and knows styles that will look good with differing facia shapes and hair textures. He is up on current trends and knowledgeable about classic styles as well. Bunmi has been cutting my and my husband’s hair for around a year now. Not only is she a super cool person who I look forward to seeing, she is also incredible at what she does. This salon is very nice and everyone there is really friendly. I got my hair cut and colored by Connie Sprajc and loved it! I have wavy/curly hair so I am always nervous about getting my hair cut by someone new, but Connie did an amazing job. My hair looked great, wasn't poofy and she even styled my hair with a blow out it looked really nice. I also have a lot of hair and it gets really heavy and weighed down and she was able to thin it out perfectly. She suggested a brown color for my hair to make it look more natural and it came out great. I'm already booking my next month appointment with her. And will definitely be a regular.
