So, this was the first time I ever went to the salon and it was such a positive experience! I was really nervous going in, but I came out feeling so relaxed and happy! My stylist was Jacob, and he is P E R F E C T. He is such a joy to be around, and he is such a positive person! Like not only is his personality super great, but he is high key one of the best stylists ever! He explained what he was doing and what products he was using which was really helpful! It was just such a good experience and 10/10 would recommend! Even a few days after my appointment, I still love my hair just as much as I did coming out of the salon! Best salon I’ve ever been to! Everybody here is so kind and professional and not at all intimidating like other places.Heather is an absolute sweetheart and so easy to talk to! I went in to take my shoulder length, thick hair down to a short pixie because I was just so tired of the headaches, scalp tenderness, etc etc. If you have thick hair, you know what I'm talking about! I saw Ashlee and she did an amazing job! I was so nervous because I have never cut my hair that short before and usually my hair gets messed up because it so hard to cut. I have been a loyal customer at Studio 417 Salon for the past 3 years, and Natalie has been my stylist for the last 2 years. She has done an incredible job helping me experiment with vivid colors while maintaining the health of my hair. Natalie communicates effectively and explains exactly which products she uses and why. She is always open to trying new methods and products if I am unhappy with my color. Before working with Natalie, I experienced and few mishaps with former employees but was generously compensated for the mistakes and introduced to Natalie. I wouldn’t consider this salon budget-friendly for college students, but it is MORE THAN reasonably priced for the quality of the services and customer service. I started going to Natalie at 417 almost a year ago now. I love my whole experience with her and 417 Salon! I am always able to get in or adjust my appointment as needed, have all my questions or concerns answered, and leave loving my hair every single time. I have been going to Natalie for about 2.5 years now. I have always had a tough time finding a stylist that can “deal” with my thick, coarse hair. I had not changed stylists in 6 years but moving closer to Springfield I needed a change. I had been to studio 417 downtown for my wedding hair and makeup, gone for several blow outs with different stylists. One in particular changed my hair life for good when she made me feel so comfortable by doing a little at a time! Emily is my forever stylist now! She gives me honest feedback and always does what’s healthiest for my hair! And I always leave feeling gorgeous! I have been going to this salon ever since I moved to Springfield a little over two and a half years ago prior to this I had my hair done all over Missouri and Natalie has gone above and beyond what I could ever expect in an all around experience. She has so much knowledge and truly puts so much passion and love into each color and set of extensions. I have been getting extensions for over 6 years I have had so many different types of extensions and after being with this salon I won’t trust anyone but them with my hair ! Not only are the services incredible by the girls working their magic in the back but everyone in the salon is so friendly from the girls up front checking you in. I went in for my first visit with Hailey with a picture of the cut I wanted. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly sweet Hailey was. She attended to my needs as if I were a guest in her home. She was very personable and asked about my life like a friend would. I felt comfortable with her immediately and felt wanted. She walked me through every step of the process and made sure the cut was exactly like the picture I brought in. I was very impressed with the ease at which she was able to execute the cut from the picture! She knew exactly what to do. She also explained how my front and sides could be grown out to work towards an even closer style like I’m wanting. She styled my hair wonderfully and walked me through how to style it at home. She gave great tips! I appreciated this so much and haven’t had that before. And I have been able to practice styling my hair with good success from her advice! And I love my hair!
