Chris is an amazing strength trainer in every sense of the word: he finds his student's strengths and builds on them so that the less strong muscles and areas of the body can be supported and developed. I have worked with Chris in person and on video for eight months now and I can feel my progress in endurance, balance, and ease of movement. I can do some things I never thought I'd be able to do and I have found new confidence. Chris teaches with perception, intuition, and vast knowledge. He knows how to encourage us to move forward. I've been attending Chris' M/W/Sat classes since the beginning of January, and it's been incredibly helpful in getting me into a workout routine. He's able to answer any questions I have about nutrition/meal planning, as well as workout form. As an added bonus he has an MBA and is a marketing expert so I'm able to ask him marketing questions from time to time. More...

Encouragement, Guidance, Results, Community: That's what you can expect from STRENGTH WISE.I've been going to Chris's Mo/Wed/Sat class for a few months now. Since starting with Chris, my quality of life has improved dramatically. I have always been a very active person, pre covid I was at the gym everyday. Chris is an EXCELLENT coach.  He's helped me set realistic health goals, and has given me the knowledge and tools on how to maintain those goals.  The workout plans that Chris created for me were designed in a way that allowed me to be consistent with them, and never get burned out.  He's very encouraging and was willing to answer any questions that I had along the way.  I highly recommend working with Chris and the Strength Wise program! I was a sporadic weight lifter for most of my 20s, then took a 15 year hiatus. I returned to weightlifting during working from home with Covid, except this time I had 3 small children, (and less schedule flexibility to train), was 30 pounds heavier and had persistent back issues. In the past year I also had to give up my occasional 3 and 4 mile runs due to my Osteopath's recommendation.Chris designed a program for me that fit my schedule and has helped educate me about modern weightlifting theory, as I only knew bro weightlifting science from the 90's. After only 3 months my lifts a bigger than I thought possible and I have no back pain, and I found a new fitness regimen to help me keep up with my kids. More...

I thought my lifting days were over. Bad shoulder, bad knee, bad back. Chris disagreed. Thankfully, he disagreed forcefully enough to get me back on the weights. I couldn&#39;t be more grateful. <br><br>Chris hasn&#39;t just helped me regain strength, he&#39;s helped me rebuild confidence. <br><br>It&#39;s only been a month, but I can already feel my relationship to my body changing. I&#39;m less fearful of every ache and pain, less prone to catastrophizing, and I&#39;m getting steadily stronger. Chris has helped me get back to working with the barbell in a much more competent way.  I don't feel like I have to kill myself every workout to make progress and have been getting PRs every week all while still being able to move the next day:) He curates a plan for the individual rather than what I've experienced in the past as"one size fits all.
