Strength & Fitness is an excellent place to train that happens to be family owned and operated. The owner Doug is not only friendly but he's extremely passionate about what he does and it shows. (The guy literally jumped 10 stacked aerobic steps from a dead stop. I don't even think my cat can do that) Other clubs in the area are way too overcrowded and literally give off the feeling that you're just a number. If you're a member at S&F they know your name, your goals and who you are as a customer. IMHO, this goes a long way. Someone earlier posted negatively about the price... Thank God it's not the "cheapest" club in Cranford! If it was, it'd be just as overcrowded and worn out as the rest. If you want to go to a "cheap" club and like working out with all the high school kids, God Bless!! Go to the club down the street. If you can afford to pay a little bit more than a high-school kid, you appreciate not being packed in like a sardine and more importantly, you understand that you get what you pay for, this IS the best place within 20 miles! Best gym in Cranford!Oh! This is what a Strength and Fitness club SHOULD be! I've been taking classes at this facility and it is far nicer than anything else in the Cranford area. It's more spacious, the staff are friendlier, and the people are working out as much as they are socializing. There is a greater variety of equipment and it's about as clean as you can expect a well used gym to be. Very good experience and I can't wait to go back again. More...

Awesome gym with great equipment in a family atmosphere!!! It's not to overcrowded and its super clean. My son also enjoys the daycare as the people that work it are wonderful. It makes it even better that I can watch him on camera while on the cardio equipment!! More...
