Stratosphere Social

This is a really cool place to visit in Eldersburg. I went on Thursday night for Trivia night and had a blast. I completely suck at trivia but had a good time. The trivia questions were actually well rounded. I didn't do as bad as I thought I would. There were a ton of teams there and we all were playing for a cash prize. I would absolutely go again. They have a bowling alley, arcade games, axe throwing, VR, a bar and more. It feels like an adult setting but there were some kids there as well. They do offer a private area that's available for parties or private gatherings. There's also a huge parking lot that offers free parking. I'm only giving this place 4 stars because the food was just ok (not bad but not absolutely delicious) and the alcoholic drinks were tasty but not strong. SS has some of the friendliest and helpful staff I've been around in a very long time.  For dealing with a staff shortage (like so many businesses right now), they seem to be handing it well. Our server was so friendly and working so hard. The place is kept very clean, especially for an arcade/bowling alley. The food selection is pretty standard pub/grille type food and was great quality and reasonably priced. The blue cheese burger was delicious and not over cooked.  They have a good selection of cocktails and beer with many 1623 selections. We look forward to our next visit! More...

Expensive as crap! We paid for an hour of "jump" for 4 kids.  It came out to 76 dollars with their socks of course. Little did we know they're not allowed to jump anymore.  They have to play dodgeball in order to use the trampolines.  Total rip off.  I miss the old "jump" style. Don't waste your time. More...

Finding the place was quite easy but I will say that it's hidden in a back road, but it's super inviting once you see it. The food is decently priced, tasted decent but limited . The place over all is cool, definitely an adult more aimed entertainment, the games area is pretty small but do have options. It was a great date night but I don't think I would invite a big group. Stratosphere Social is one of a kind. It is such a great addition to our community. I bring my son in quite a bit and every time we enjoy ourselves more than the last. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a friendly face. The entire place is clean and sanitized, the food is amazing (buffalo chicken wrap is my favorite so far), the staff and servers are friendly and attentive and the management is top notch. I always see them out on the floor interacting with guests and helping the staff in any way possible. I've even witnessed the owner Bryan cleaning the bowling lanes on busy days to help support the staff. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Stratosphere, keep doing what you're doing because its working. Definitely my new go to spot and can't wait to come back. More...
