What I like best about the program is the communication of Lyric. She kept me updated everyday when my pup was with her for 2 weeks. I was nervous about the e-collar but she explained the process in detail and took her time in answering all my questions. Not only did she keep me updated while he was in her care but she checked in on us when he was home. I got relaxed and didn’t follow through on some things with his training that she taught me and I was so frustrated and reached out to her and she was ready to help me get him back on the right track and encouraged me instead of making me feel worse. She is always there to answer questions and help as much as she can. She loves what she does and she wants nothing more than to help families have a pet they can enjoy. Jeez... how do I start We are so thankful for all that Lyric did for us!! It was a bitter sweet experience but Lyric was the one that made things so much easier! ! Our Great Dane puppy was just about a year old when she snapped and went after one of our little 7 pound dogs, leaving open wounds and needing stitches .. it was the worst experience ever!! Through a google search we found Stonehaven and immediately got our pup into the 3 week obedience training and were hopeful that things would be better. Lyric was in touch with us throughout all the phases of training, we met with her twice during that time and saw incredible changes!! She was no longer pulling on her leash... and pulling us around (big pup at over 70lbs) and she was listening to sit, stay, down. She was also interacting with other dogs during her training!! She was a different dog! After the training, Lyric was very hands on in the reintroduction to our family and the rest of our troops (5 other dogs and 4 cats). She stayed for hours with us at our home getting the ground rules down. Unfortunately, things didn't work out Our Great Dane was still VERY reactive towards our little dogs and got a hold of another small dog.... it became way too stressful for me and the rest of my family... we were traumatized and scared … so much so that we had to make a family decision for us and our other fur babies safety! I know it wasn't lack of training... because she was a really good dog after all of it... REALLY good... We just knew that she was not a good fit for our family. Lyric again came to our rescue. She has an amazing program that she offered to us and as hard as it was.... (5 months later and I STILL cry about her) we accepted! She took her in, trained with her for an additional 3 months and then found the most amazing home for her!!! I cannot say enough good things about Lyric. Prior to our dog Subie I had never had a dog with professional training and now any dog I ever will go through Lyric's program. Our pit mix Cooper had attacked 3 adult males, and I mean full-on attacks — barking, biting, scratching, blood everywhere — it was horrifying! For months my husband refused to be in the same room with him since he’d been attacked twice. We were ready to give up when we found Lyric at StoneHaven K9. After 3 weeks of behavior-modification training, Cooper is so calm and well-behaved, we can’t believe it. Neighbors comment on how perfectly he heels, and he’s just a joy to be around. Our Pitt mix, Cooper, was totally out of control and had launched full-blown attacks against three men, so StoneHaven K9 was his last chance. He returned from the 3-week class a totally different dog. He no longer violently guards his food (or his mom). His dad isn't afraid of him anymore -- now the humans are the ones in control. He heels like a champ, goes to his bed and lays down (and stays there) on command, and waits for permission to go through a doorway. He still plays like a total goofus, but only when it's appropriate. We can't thank Lyric enough for the changes she's made in our home life. I had an awesome experience with Lyric. She’s patient, kind and very informative. She used the correct training tools and educated me on how to use them to train my crazy dog Rosie. Just spend the money and do it! My dog is so much easier to handle. We dropped him off super crazy and his manners were so bad. He would jump on everyone to say hello. He has come home a different dog. We are working hard to keep him that way. But working with him has turned into an enjoyable, relaxing part of our crazy, busy lives. I feel confident bringing him out and about everywhere. I wish I had sought this trainers help a long time ago. I’d do it again. The owner follows up afterwards, is easy to reach, offers continuing education and I will definitely board with her when we vacation so our sweet boy can get extra training and stay on top of his game! I used Lyric with StoneHaven K9 Training for my 2 dogs. Both of my dog were different situations. My male Brutus was 2 when we met Lyric. He was a rescue from Naples Humane Society. We got him when he was almost 4 months. We started working with him right away. We did in store trainings at pet stores and attempted other dog trainers and none of it was working. Brutus is a great dog, he was just hyper and could not focus...oh and walking him was miserable!I did a lot of research on Lyric and her style of training and decided it was our best fit to do a board and train. We sent Brutus to Lyric for 10 days and it was the BEST thing we could have ever done for not only us but for him.Lyric set boundaries and a foundation for Brutus as well as us. Our family life is so different now. He is a true pleasure to walk these days and a joy to be around. He finds comfort in the structure she created for us. We welcomed our 2nd dog to our family about a year ago. Her name is Sammie and she is a chocolate lab. She met Lyric when she was almost 9 months old. Lyric is the best! Hands down. Our rescue Husky came to us with terrible resource guarding habits and a tendency to bite. After a few weeks, we knew we were in trouble . It got so bad that we were scared we might have to give up on him. Thankfully for all of us, we're not the give up kind. We connected with Lyric and enrolled in the 3 week program. Kola was out if control before we sent her to Lyric and we were about ready to take her back to Lee County shelter. She was a completely different dog when she came home! WOW! Lyric is absolutely amazing, our Sophie Grace just came home from a 10 day training in what seems to be the hottest 10 days ever in Florida she not only kept her cool and didn’t over work her in the heat worked with her inside as well and I am mind blown being home 30min it’s jaw dropping I have a 10month old lab that is staying in place sitting staying and OBEYING. We reached out to Lyric when we didn’t know what else to do with our Doberman puppy. We have 2 small children under 3 years old and a hyper puppy who doesn’t listen and jumps all over the kids was not working well. We were also struggling with potty training, crate training, and separation anxiety. After 10 days, our puppy now listens and follows direction. She has learned how to coexist with the kids and doesn’t try to tackle them. Her constant barking has also become very minimal. It has been a huge sigh of relief for our family! We no longer have to keep her and the kids separated. She still gets a little distracted at times but that comes with the breed as a puppy. However, she does listen when we correct her which is a huge difference compared to her not listening at all in the beginning. I am very pleased with the training Duke received. Before I couldn't walk him without being pulled, him barking at the world, and him chasing every creature on earth. I just got him back a few days ago from the 10 day training course and we went on 3.5 mile hike where he healed the whole time ( without me holding his leash!) There were other doggies, people, and critters but he stayed right by me. I love that I have a new buddie to hike and jog with and both of us get to enjoy the walk! Thank you Lyric! Duke and I can go on a million adventures now. He is going to become an adventurer and will most likely go on more vacations and road trips than most people! Our hiking bucket list is all 50 states! Lyric is the OG dog whisperer! I have never seen someone have such natural instincts with all types of breeds of dogs. I took my Dobie to StonveHaven K9 for her week long puppy boot-camp class. We have a 1 year old chocolate lab that was out of control. Went through some classes at PetSmart, have tried every leash/ harness under the sun and nothing worked! She would pull during walks and charge at dogs walking by. She also counter surfed, chased my cats and just didn’t listen! She came home a couple days after Christmas. Once I worked with Lyric’s instructions and got myself trained, Harley has been much better. Today we took her in a huge crowd downtown Cape Coral for the art festival and not only was she extremely well behaved around all the people and other dogs, several people complimented me on how well behaved she was, and one lady thanked me for it! We tried basic group puppy classes and occasional private lessons in our home for our 8 month old male golden retriever. We found this type of training to have no consistency. It was so frustrating for us as we found ourselves yelling and smacking our puppy on the nose to correct him after the traditional repetitive food/praise type of training was NOT working. We heard from friends that they had success with board and train programs. We did our research and found Lyric at StoneHaven K9 Training. We decided on her two week program and have no regrets. We were getting to our wits end with our 2 dogs. No manners, door dashers and would pull our arms off while attempting to walk them. We had a GSD puppy that was crazy, and out of control. We decided to give Lyric a try after getting nowhere with other trainers.
We decided on the two week class . Lyric kept in touch with me and gave us daily videos and updates on Titans progress. Titan pretty much goes everywhere with me. I didn’t really realize it till yesterday when I was in Rural King and people kept telling me how well behaved my dog is. I have her info to 3 different people. She is truly awesome. We keep in touch on FB and on the phone. Waiting for the next step in his training. He is almost 7 months. Well worth the money. Results are amazing. Ps: Titan lived with Lyric and her family. He got to spend time in a family environment while he was there. I’m pretty sure he wants to go back. I will update when he goes back for further training.

Lyric was amazing for our dog, Nattie. She was a 1 year old rescue pup with no history, and an intolerable habit for dragging us on the leash, barking at anything moving faster than her (not limited to strollers, bikes, joggers, children), not listening, and bossy barking;
the 2 week program did wonders.
Originally from Maryland, we have frequent visitors, and dear friends who have seen Nattie's before and after are amazed she is even the same dog.
She now with ease can stay in her cage, listens on the leash, and is presentable in public. As an active couple, we try to take her as many places as possible, and we can now do this with no anxiety knowing Nattie will be well behaved. With her previous behaviors, that was impossible.
This program is definitely worth the heartache of leaving your baby behind for 2 weeks, and is also worth the lifestyle improvement for both you and the pup.
I would recommend this program to anyone at any time!

We just got Duncan back from
the extended program and I can’t begin to tell you the difference!
Walks are pleasant again- no pulling on the leash and I have no fear of how he is going to react to other people and dogs.
Today I was loading up my car and he was just chilling in his “place” while I was in and out.
I highly recommend Lyric. She has put together a great program that includes lots of follow ups and visits including the humans. In our case, that is where most of the work needs to be done. �. We basically had an "out of control" dog who, because of his behavior, wasn't fun, or even pleasant, to be around. Cody would jump, bark and not listen but always did just what he wanted to do. He would chase our cat and made our other English Springer Spaniel miserable. We were DESPERATE as I believe MOST people ARE who finally find Lyric. Yes, her time is expensive, but let me tell you she and her work with your dog are a bargain at twice, thrice, four times her price. She is more than worth every penny you will spend. Remember you get what you pay for, and with Lyric, what we received was a loving dog who all the time we previously had him, WANTED to be a good dog, we just didn't know how to be good dog parents. Cody went in for Lyric's 3-week program, and I highly recommend that program as the way to go. We received daily videos from Lyric showing us Cody's progress. You don't know how much we looked forward to seeing those daily videos. She would take all around to different places and environments. She even drove up to Sebring with Cody to meet with us and to walk through stores and shops to give us some hands on training PRIOR to Cody finishing his 3-week boot camp. She is just the most amazing miracle worker with dogs, and just a real nice person. Stonehaven K9 is hands down the best dog training facility I have encountered in SWFL. I should have brought my dog here from the start! My dog, Kona, had been to Lyric for a few days of basic training when she was a puppy, but returned back months later for reactive training. Kona had issues with reactivity towards things that moved faster than her, men, front door manners and a few other things. It had gotten to the point where I was nervous to walk her outside in fear of seeing someone riding a bicycle.Even after two weeks of being in the rehab program with Lyric, I could already see a drastic difference in Kona. She was so well behaved; no barking at men, pulling on her leash or ignoring commands. By the time Kona came home, I was blown away by the results. Her behavior has been a complete 180-degree turn around! I highly recommend Stonehaven K9 for any and all of your canine needs - especially their reactive dog rehab program. We sent our deaf and aggressive blue heeler Zoe to StoneHaven for a month long rehabilitation and training. We had our doubts that Zoe would ever be manageable, but she is a completely different doggo now. Lyric worked with us at multiple locations, highlighting our actions that previously enabled Zoe's aggressive behavior, and gave us tools to more effectively communicate with her (e-collar, pinch collar, better hand signals, etc.) Since the training, we haven't had any dog fights, terrified pedestrians, or stressful hikes.
