We opted for the shuttle services were phenomenal from the time I booked to the days before my wedding with up-to-date text messages and email to confirm my reservations. They called the day before to reconfirm and text me that morning and up to date texts of the location of the driver. We had a great experience with Sterling Limousine! The were incredibly accommodating with our schedule. We had a driver for the bridal party to do pictures around the city, and then shifted directly to shuttling our guests from the hotel to the venue. The ensured all guests were picked up, and did shuttle service of multiple trips back to the hotel from the venue at the end of the night. The driver was professional, and the vehicle was spotless. There was a snow storm predicted to impact the wedding and Sterling immediately called to assure us that it would be no problem on their end. They were courteous, on time, and went above and beyond to ensure the comfort of our guests and to ensure that our guests’ travel arrangements wasn’t something we’d have to worry about the day of our wedding. We decided fairly close to the wedding that we would need a shuttle to and from the venue. We contacted several other services and were nervous we wouldn’t be able to afford it. The staff at Sterling were right off the bat professional, so friendly, SO responsive to my millions of questions and emails (and never batted an eye!), honestly they were a dream to work with. Thankfully they were also affordable AND offered money saving options for us. At show time, our driver was so awesome!! I would 110% recommend Sterling to anyone with transportation needs. We needed a limo bus, town cars for 2 sets of parents, a shuttle to and from the hotel and a town car to take parents home.
Our timeline and addresses were all over the place and Sterling delivered beautifully! We were on time for everything, the cars and shuttle were so nice and added a nice touch for our parents and guests, and the limo bus was SO much fun and fit all 20+ of us comfortably. Big shout out to Mike our driver, who was then also our driver for our honeymoon 3 days later when we used Sterling to take us to Newark airport!
While I don’t think I’ll be needing to book wedding transportation again anytime soon, I would recommend that everyone else use Sterling! And I will absolutely be using them for any future airport transportation needs. From their drivers to their cars to their scheduling team, they were a pleasure to work with.

Sterling Transportation was responsive, flexible, and even upgraded us to a limo bus without charging more when we wanted to change vehicles.
They were on time and overall easy and great to work with. Because of this, I would, usually, recommend their services, but an incident occurred right at the end of our wedding that makes me want to do business elsewhere and warn potential clients.
The driver for our limo bus was Falcone and he greeted myself my wife and our wedding party, before the wedding, with a smile and some humor. He transported us to the venue without incident and we left feeling comfortable and assured. On the way back, however, Falcone greeted our Black friend with the comment “I like your tan” when our friend responded “That’s the color of my skin” he responded “Yeah I like it.” He then said “I’m 2%, so it’s okay.” We rode the limo bus back in shock. When we arrived at our hotel, Falcone apologized, stating that it was a joke and he was sorry if he offended anyone but the damage had already been done.
A few days after the incident, we reached out to Ron Robinson, general manager for Sterling Limousine and informed him of what happened and asked him what steps were being taken. We were told steps were being taken but he couldn’t disclose what exactly was being done to ensure that something like this did not occur. What we did receive was a boilerplate response stating that steps were being taken but they could not be divulged outside the organization. While we understand that there are internal decisions that cannot be divulged, I must say that when it comes to issues of race, bias and inclusion, it is best to be transparent with customers in order to build trust and Sterling broke that trust the moment one of our guests and loved ones was made to feel uncomfortable. They reinforced that break in trust when they were unable to reassure us that this wouldn't happen again in the future.
Sterling Transportation needs to do more to ensure that drivers understand why and how this was wrong. We live in a world where everyone falls in love and gets married, where families and friends of all backgrounds gather — and each and every single one of them is entitled to celebrate and to be safe, without their gender or race or identity being commented on, especially in such an ignorant way. This may have been an isolated incident, but maybe not. Nonetheless, we could not write a review without being totally honest in our experience.
Because of the incident and the response we received, we will most definitely not be using Sterling Transportation again.
