I live in Tampa and my family is in Orlando so I work out of both locations. Portable lights and backgrounds for on location set up for Studio Style photos as desired.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Having a good eye for composition and lighting along with a good understanding of how your camera works are the biggest factors.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What kinds of photos are you looking for? Is there a particular theme/feel you are looking for in the photos (applies mainly to portraits) How many final photos are you looking for? Where would you like the photos taken? Have you seen any photos on Pinterest, Google Image search etc we can use as inspiration?
What do you love most about your job?
I am in love with the ability to freeze a moment in time with my camera! I especially enjoy capturing candid moments and action shots of both people and animals which pass too quickly for the eye to really process. I love using Lightroom/PhotoShop to turn up the color, bring out details and add a more artistic feel to my images. I also enjoy getting to peek into a lot of different worlds doing my Corporate Photography and meeting such a wide variety of people. I love capturing images that people will look back on many years in the future.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked in Retail Mgmt for many years and felt very trapped and burnt out buy the experience. I did not like the way the companies I worked with were run and I had also become unhappy living where I had grown up in Maryland at that time. I had the opportunity to change my life with help from my father and decided to pursue my new love of photography moving to Tampa in 2008. I earned a degree in Digital Photography from IADT Tampa in 2010 and have grown my business every year since. I now love what I do and the fact that I am my own boss.

I hope that clients will visit my website and a bit of my personality while viewing my photos! I love showing people at their best and also have a great love of wildlife and nature!
