Our teaching method relies heavily on inductive learning. This method helps a student understand the material from his/her own perspective - unlike the traditional deductive learning method which is used in most schools.
Our STEM Tutors (grades 6-12) are familiar with the curriculum of school districts in Montgomery, Prince Georges' and Anne Arundel Counties.

Stem is reasonably priced, quick to respond to calls and e-mails but most importantly, my son’s tutor was amazing.
Connected with my son and very knowledgeable. My son regained so much confidence in himself and doing so much better in school. His tutor stopped because of his program in school and we are yet to connect with his new tutor. Hopefully, my son will be able to connect with the new tutor.
Generally, it’s being a positive experience. I am glad that we made this move and will highly recommend Stem prep!

What do you love most about your job?
I love the opportunity of having interesting conversations with my students. I learn new things as much as I teach.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Many children struggle with their school work because teachers teach the material to 'everybody'. Obviously every child is different and would understand a concept differently - oftentimes. My focus at all times is to interact with my students and help them understand the material 'their own way' rather than 'my way'.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a 'personal touch' with every parent. I understand their needs and respond promptly as well.
