We have returned to this restaurant a few times and came to the realization that it is perfect for drinks with friends and appetizers only. I tried the dinners and they just lack flavor. For some reason someone seems to love curry here. The entrees we had, were laced with hints of curry. No salt and pepper. Sometimes simple seasonings and proper cooking methods are better. The brazed short ribs were good however were ruinind by the risotto which was seasoned with curry. The flavors beat each other up. The chicken scarpariello was crazy. WAY TOO MANY FLAVORS FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHER FOR ATTENTION. The chicken could have been amazing by itself. Stella's is an amazing atmosphere. The appetizers were perfect, light but not too light. HIGHLY recommend getting the Tito's sangria - it's the perfect summer drink! I recently went to Stella's for the first time after discovering that they offer vegan options. We made a reservation for Friday night and were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and able to answer all the questions we had about various menu items. The environment is very nice, quiet and clean. My sister and I both ordered The Heartland Burger which is The Impossible Burger with lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion and chipotle veganaise on a brioche bun. IT WAS PERFECTION! I love The Impossible Burger and Stella's combined the flavors of the patty with a delicious chipotle mayo and a freshly toasted brioche bun. The fries were also fantastic (I would recommend getting a side of the chipotle veganaise for dipping). Our boyfriends got the veggie pasta with spicy marinara and it was also phenomenal. The noodles were the best vegan noodles I have ever had in my life. The bread is also delicious, we ate like 5 baskets. The pricing is fair for the portion size and experience and overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a nicer atmosphere that can accommodate many different diets. Told when made reservations that there was and all inclusive four-course meal bloody Mary bar and Mimosa bar for Easter Sunday . When we arrived we were told that wasn't available, and had to order off the menu. Ordering off the menu, was a much higher price then the all-inclusive price that they advertised when making the reservation. It was a bait and switch kind of thing. Nice local spot in historic perrysburg. The French onion soup was great, not salty like it can be at alot of other places. They were out of sourdough for my blt(+avocado) but it still tasted great on rye. The brussel sprout appetizer was really big. One of my favorite places to go in Perrysburg. However, I never know what I'm going to get until I get there! Having said that, tonight was amazing affordable gourmet food (exception of small wine pours for the price. Brussel sprouts appetizer are worth it with the right amount of flavor, bacon and a subtle bit of heat. Walleye sauteed or crisp to your specifications and my short ribs with a port wine reduction were amazing with a sweet potato underlay puree. Unfortunately, Stellsa just seems inconsistent and perhaps that is because of different owners and/or management.
