Overall it was fun, but we were placed in a table by the kitchen and the team bumped into my son multiple times without apologizing. Waiter didn’t check in very often and missed his chance to get some drinks on the bill.My wife and son enjoyed the four course lobster special.My daughter and I had swordfish, it was bland and overcooked.The brussel sprouts and crab legs were the best items we had.This was for my wife’s 40th birthday and the 200 bill for four was hefty but expected. Awesome fresh fish menu. Fantastic service. Comfortable casual family environment that we enjoyed as out of towners that had been looking for a fine dining experience on a Saturday night. We got great food and we were maybe over dressed but wouldn't change the experience for white table clothes and a waiter with a tux. We just celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at Stella’s. The food was incredible! Everything from the Oysters Rockefeller to the lobster tail was an experience for the palate. Our server began our meal with complimentary glasses of champagne and ended it with red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. He made sure we were well taking care of. Went here for the first time for  lunch and had a crabcake and Salmon Oscar. The crabcake was absolutely delicious and came with one cake and greens with sauce. The Salmon Oscar came with grilled salmon, mashed potatoes, grilled  asparagus, crab, side greens, and some sort of hollandaise sauce. Salmon was grilled perfectly with a nice crisp, and the potatoes were delicious. Crab cake was also so yummy, I wish the order came with more!Drinks wise, there is a large menu with beers, wines, and cocktails. I ordered the Sangria with white wine and it was deliciously fruity. Stellas also has a bar and music at night, and the one time that I went, they had live music with a DJ in one of the upstairs room and a band in the other.  The music wasn't my type, but overall I would come back for food but am curious what other music acts they may have. This was my first time at Stella's. Now I am not sure why I have never been before. We were having a company function, and this was a great spot to have it. The appetizers were great (crab cakes, walleye dinged, Cajun steak bites, and cocktail shrimp. For my entree I ordered the jambalaya. Ate lunch yesterday there with my husband and our 3 kids. The oyster Rockefeller and crab cakes was delish for our appetizers. I got the whole Maine lobster and my husband got the swordfish with a fish taco. Our bill was 150 with my kids meal added, so it was a reasonable price given the quality of seafood we got. Casual eatery with a great menu and very tasty food, there is a good wine menu choices, considering the place. My husband and I enjoyed Thanksgiving special buffet that included outstanding green salad with apples and candied nuts, fantastic turkey (must be deep fried), remarkable salmon, shrimps, typical holiday side dishes and choices of deserts. Best Fish Fry so far in City! Reserving a Table does not mean anything if you want to sit on Rooftop. The Rooftop is FULL of people who are drinking, loud, like a Meat Market up there. It would be sooooo nice if they had at least a couple tables away from bar area where families or couples could have nice dinner to enjoy the outdoor seating.
