I hate doing my taxes, hate, hate, hate it! Until yesterday when my husband and I met with Liana! She is professional, goes through every detail, gets everything done in a short amount of time and you don't feel rushed.  She is patient and very good at explaining everything throughout the whole process. We always used to file our own taxes and it was miserable. We thought it was so expensive to go through a professional, but Liana changed all of that. I can't believe how affordable her service is!  I want everyone I know to change their accountant to Liana, she's that good! I hugged her at the end because I was relieved and couldn't believe how easy she made the whole process. In addition to her amazing service, she was so incredibly nice to my whole family. We had to take our 8-month old son since she was kind enough to see us when we got off of work and she was so nice to him and didn't mind at all that we had to bring him. Liana at Steadfast accounting is a godsend.  She's not only a great accountant but she is an incredible person.  Let's just say I was struggling with personal issues and hadn't filed a tax return for several years.  I was getting threatening letters from the IRS and the stress was steadily rising in my life.  When I finally brought my head out of the sand I went to see Liana after a recommendation from a good friend.  She was supportive and compassionate at the same time.  After all of my procrastination Liana was able to file ALL of my back taxes within 3 days!  The major tax situation I "thought" I had turned out to be a little blip in my life.  I've watched all those commercials about "owing back taxes" and paying people to get you out of trouble.  That's unnecessary.  Just go to Liana and she will take care of you.  She now has a customer for life!! Liana is a genius!! I am a self employed musician and filing taxes has always been daunting for me, since my income comes from so many different sources, etc. Unlike H&R block (who did my taxes previously), Liana went through my case with so much detail and expertise, and ended up saving me a good amount of money! Liana is an amazing accountant! I kept rescheduling the appointments as  I was coming from West LA but she was so patient and kind to accommodate a weekend. She was both professional and friendly when I visited her home office. Explained how some of the tax breakdown works on Independent Contractor bracket. Liana is amazing. It was super easy to make an appointment with her and work with her!I started a business last year and it was my first time doing taxes and it's nerve-wrecking to first time business owners. Or at least for me it was with all the notices, sales tax, etc. Anyways she answered all of the questions I had and when I was confused she definitely was super patient with me to explain things so I could understand them.This location is her house, but she actually has a separate unit in the back with her own professional office. And honestly I loved that and preferred that. It was 1-on-1, I wasn't walking into a stuffy office building nor intimidated. You can just talk to her and she helps you with anything!She is super sweet and I couldn't be happier I had to write this review! (but also scared everyone else might make it harder for me to see her hahahah). She even offered to text or call her whenever if I had any questions. That's what's so great, it seems like she's always available to her clients! On Easter Sunday, I sat down at my local Starbucks ready to do my taxes through a commercial online program as I had done my entire young adult life. Recently I had graduated with a doctoral degree and had been working a Post-doc fellowship and had been given an additional grant. The institution had check marked me as self-employed. Suddenly the online commercial tax applications gave very confusing instructions as to avoid paying self-employment taxes. I began reading tax cases, reading publication 970 of the IRS tax code,  and found myself too fearful to mess up-suddenly untrusting of both Turbo and Tax Act. I needed a real tax expert. So I did a yelp search and typed in best place to do your taxes nearby. This place came up as well did others. I posed my tax problem to the top 6 and asked the replier to tell me what they thought the solution was to my problem. Liana was the only one who answered me with her research. That won my trust and respect. She did my taxes in as little as 20 minutes, fixed the issue, and I feel so happy and glad I went to her. There was two other places who responded to me, but did not answer my question. They merely gave me how much their services were going to be-169 and 179 and the earliest time they could schedule me in. Liana too had gave me her quote which was lower than these two, but the price wasn't what mattered to me, she passed my scrutiny the right way. Liana is a both a warm and very knowledgeable tax professional.It was my first time opting to forego using tax software on my own, in favor of seeking the help of a pro, and I'm glad I did.
