Went to station 8 last nite for the first time with my husband and daughter!!!!! Let me start off by saying the food was phenomenal I had there grilled salmon dish it was amazing, my daughter had the scallops and my husband had there fish and chips! !! Jacki was our server, she was awesome Ive worked at a very popular restaurant in The South End of BostonCalled Mikes City Diner for close to 16 years!!! and I know a thing or two aboutExceptional food & service and this place has both!!! Came here with my brother after visiting Quirk Chrysler which was down the street. Came around 2pm, it was pretty dead inside so I was happy. It was almost like we had the whole place to ourselves. The atmosphere inside was quite nice. I liked the decor and the large screens over the bar. Fun fact, I actually saw the dish I ordered on the menu screen on top of the bar as it shifted through their menus. I thought that was kind of cool.The server came up and was a pleasure to have. She was nice, attentive and quick with her service. I ordered the steak tips with french fries and wanted it medium. It came back medium rare, it was really really chewy because of that. I'm not the type to make a scene and ask for another one so I just ate it. Although the taste was good, the consistency was much too chewy because it was undercooked. My brother got their pasta and our friend got the baked fish. They all enjoyed their meals. The place was empty so I loved it. The server was fast, and came to check up on us multiple times so I really enjoyed her service which was reflected on the tip we left. We went for an early dinner there and throughly enjoyed the food and the service. Inhad fish tacos which were to die for! the old man had baked fish of some kind and left nothing on his plate . He also ordered the potstickers as an app...he never orders apps. Looks like they have live music and/or karaoke? Not positive on that though. More...

I hadn't been home for a while, and the old PapaGinos is greatly improved! Station 8 is a really comfortable, nice space. They have a great selection of beer and wine . I didn't eat, but the food i saw coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great. Also: the Bartender was attentive, friendly, had great beer knowledge, and she's Stunningly Goodlooking!!! We were staying at a beach house down the street and came here for a nightcap after an awesome dinner in Boston. They have ample parking. The interior had a mountain lodge vibe with exposed stone walls. The music was not so loud that you couldn't carry on a conversation which was nice.There were plenty of open tables, but we opted for the bar. Our bartender was very sweet and attentive, and made excellent Moscow Mules. :)I would definitely love to sample their menu the next time we are in town. More...

I will start by saying I have never left a review in my life .  I hate them Ive worked In restaurants for 30 years . However my experiences at station 8 have been so great EVERY time I've been they deserve  to be recognized.  I've eaten dinner , brunch and now a large private party .   The ambiance  is open and spacious yet welcoming . The food has always been amazing . But the staff is absolutely on point . The whole staff , they could not be more accommodating efficient and kind . Not the first time here. I've been here several times, food is great we always sit at the bar. Bar stools are very comfortable menu was just recently updated two weeks ago I just can't understand why they don't have good help it always seems like every time we sit at the bar we get the bad/inexperienced bartender. ‍

Stopped in for late lunch while visiting the area. Great location and friendly service. The waitress knew that I was vegan and made sure that the chef was aware. The chef prepared a meal for me that he is trying out for the new menu.The meal was outstanding!!! The vegan dish was my favorite meal during this vacation. Station Eight is not only one of my favorite restaurants in Marshfield but one of my favorite restaurants period. My family and I eat here at least 3 times a month. They are kid friendly, the staff is amazing-servers, management, hosts. They will always accommodate your requests. Not to mention the food is excellent. We always start with the lobster rangoons (my son's favorite) and their Greek salad. There menu changes seasonally so you always get the freshest ingredients. Some new selections I have tried this past summer were  the Scallops with Risotto, Shrimp with Grits, and the Chicken with Risotto which were all delicious. One of my go to's on their menu is their steak-always cooked to perfection. Don't pass up Station Eight. You will be guaranteed a great meal, amazing drinks and awesome live music. More...

So I wasnt thrilled with the entree options. I opted instead to take a couple apps instead. The Spanish Chicken and (sauce? ) Were delicious! Also the salad beet me! Been here many times, with girlfriends, with my young children and husband, as well as with large parties for special events. Every visit has been great. The staff has always been welcoming and warm, from the bartenders/ waitstaff and to the manager. Have been here a couple times when a member of the waitstaff has been in training, and the respect and  kindness the other waitstaff exhibit in showing the new staff the ropes is commendable. The atmosphere is very cool with a young and trendy vibe. Exposed stone and metal influences throughout. The service is both friendly and speedy. I went with my family (four of us), the cost was about $100.00, so if you're looking for a cheap place to eat, this might not be your first option. But is the food worth the price tag? It certainly is. Bold flavors, larger than life portions, and excellent service, what more could you ask for? Their bread is absolutely to die for, and my meal was fantastic. The way the tender pork melted in my mouth with ever bite and the fancy upscaled carrots and sweet potato added some fun to the party in my mouth! With options ranging from seafood dishes to pork and lamb , to chicken parmesan, this is a place I would surely like to visit again. My only complaint and reason for not giving a full 5 star rating is their metal table tops inside. Throughout the meal the metal would pop with the slightest touch adding a bit of annoyance to the meal, but luckily the food made up for this. 4 out of 5 stars would recommend. More...

Great food, clean restaurant, friendly staff. If the restaurant is empty, service can be very slow (ie drink orders) but that is true of most. Bands can often times overpower the space so sit far away from band if you want to talk. Great place for New Years Eve. I love their reservation system and staff is very helpful when there is a wait.
