Poutine Fries. Covered in light gravy and Cheese Curds, also had Bacon, and just the right amount of Jalapeño. I fell in love with this caloric combo.
A new culinary experience for me even at my advanced age.
Also the Fried Pickles were the best I've ever had. Not even close. A hint of sweetness somehow, not crazy salty like some Fried Pickles and the batter was almost like a Tempura. Very crunchy :-)
Oh and did I mention they have like 60 beers on tap. I had a Temptress Nitro. Muy Bueno

We tried SDH for the first time Friday evening. Packed house. We were late meeting friends and had to move them from a table of 2 to a larger table. The staff didn't blink an eye. The food was wonderful and the service was beyond great. One of our friends had a concern with his meal and a fresh meal was brought out by the owner to accommodate. We had dinner a few months ago at another fairly new restaurant in the area. Everything was so salty it was literally Unedible . We understand an off night occasionally and we aren't super picky but the owner of that restaurant blamed everyone from the chefs to the wait staff and was very rude. My husband and I, along with a group of friends, went in last night to have fun and watch the Cowboys game. I called the night before and spoke to the manager, John, who was incredibly nice and let me know our group would definitely be accommodated.
We sat in the private dining room and Cole was our server. He had mentioned being new, but he did a great job. He was on top of our requests and was very personable.
The food was delicious (try the fried pickles!) And the beer selection was awesome. I didn't have a cocktail, but will try one next time, as the menu had some very interesting options.
Overall, I'm glad we decided to check this place out, and I think we've found a new favorite.

Visited my second time--this time for dinner and it was still fantastic! Love the look, the branding, the beer lists scrolling on the screen. Fried pickles were outstanding--a surprise bc they are sweet pickles! This time I had the State Burger and fries, hubby had the chicken tender plate onion rings--YUM! Our server, Ray, was awesome! What a fantastic experience! First time there and will be a regular now! Loved the atmosphere, our waitress was top notch knew what we needed before we did! The food was to die for. My favorite was the Mac and cheese omg it was perfect made with Gouda cheese. We had pretzels with Gouda cheese and Cajun mustard for the appetizer that was so delicious. The best part of the evening was the bbq ribs according to my significant other. Best ribs he ever had. So delicious. We heard they will have a new menu on August 13th can’t wait � More...
