What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing people have the light turn on in their eyes when they understand something that radically changes their life for the better!
And since I've always loved helping people I also really love that I'm able to turn it into something that I do constantly as a career.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’ve always enjoyed helping people to be happier, to smile more, to get through the tough times that we all go through and to reach for their dreams.
I was inspired by one of my mentors during my senior year of high school to become a mentor myself. I pushed away that dream because I felt like I wouldn’t ever be qualified to do so. A year later however I happened across another mentor of mine whom I saw had learned what he needed to know himself and was helping people, including myself, with what he shared. I then decided that I wanted to be a mentor again.
A couple of years later I had the time again to be able to learn how to become a mentor and help people, so I started learning! I completed an intensive 12-week course on presenting and immediately afterward I completed another high-intensity 12-week course on mentoring. I had been thinking of starting up a business for a while and as I was finishing the course on mentoring I registered my business, Starlight Mentoring.
That’s where you find me today, building up my business to be able to help even more people as I’ve always dreamed of doing. Are you ready to let me help you achieve your dream? :D
