I contacted Star Limousine about a sort of crazy idea of taking a group of my older daycare girls on a special excursion. From the very first email, Star Limo was incredible ! They seemed as excited as we were to surprise 14 young ladies (ages 4 to 11 years) with a “party bus” limo ride to our destination. We used Star Transportation for my sister’s bachelorette party weekend. I originally had a much cheaper quote but decided to go with Star Transportation as they seemed to be more polished, knowledgeable and Mary was SO nice over the phone. All I got from the cheaper place was attitude. High five to Mary on her except customer service. She set us up with a “fun driver” Ricky. He. Was. AWESOME! My wife and I had a great time viewing Christmas lights on the holiday tour. Our driver Dan was very polite and an excellent navigator in finding the best lights. He took us all over the cities and made several stops for us to get out and walked around a couple of displays. He was very attentive to our needs and made it the best possible experience. Incredibly disappointed. We booked a limo Christmas lights tour last around last Christmas. We had a family emergency happen during the tour. My brothers in laws father died suddenly during the tour. So we had to stop the tour. We were only in the car for an hour. We had booked 3 hours. People who were in our party all called multiple times to see if we could get a partial refund since we payed for 3 hours. I sent multiple emails and provided proof of the death. I also called and often never got a call back and was told by the manager I had to talk to the owners. We were told they would call us and they never did. I’m highly disappointed that this company wouldn’t be the least bit considerate of an uncontrollable death and help us out. Just arranged for Star Transport to pick up my 92 year old dad from his assisted living place to take him to the Mall of America to meet friends for coffee and bring him back . I didn't want to entrust care of dad to a taxi or an Uber as there were a lot of instructions and I needed the driver to really assist dad . All my friends and family are working , his buddies at the mall live too far away  and a voluntary service for elderly wouldn't drive the distance and I couldn't be certain about the driving expertise . Further, I am overseas and so need someone really reliable . I called Star Transport and have nothing but praise for them , so professional and accommodating . I was surprised I got a text while overseas the night before reconfirming the arrangements  but then I get a text an hour before the pickup saying the driver is enroute . I thought  something was wrong as that was too early but found out that this is how Star works they want to arrive with plenty of time . I got constant updates via text of what was happening which again is so important when I am overseas and knowing what MN road conditions can be . Most importantly the driver Tom went beyond expectations as to service . He arranged logistics with my dad's friends , he engaged my Dad in conversation the whole trip (though my dad has some memory loss and will ask the same thing repeatedly ) and did the whole thing in such a way that you know this guy really loves  his work . We used Star Limos to do a Christmas Light tour. I called several times before we went and asked about the route they would take and was assured that we would see beautifully decorated homes. I had a question for the driver that morning and asked the receptionist to have him call me. He never called and when he took us out on our route, he had no idea where to take us. He drove us to Richfield to look at 2 shoddy houses. We wasted 2 hours driving around with very disappointed passengers. I received text messages and e-mails when the limo left Eagan, and when the driver arrived 15 minutes earlier than scheduled. We were surprised when complimentary champagne glasses served to our wedding party and their dates! The driver, Khaled, was extremely accommodating by going anywhere requested. The groom changed the route and stopped at the liquor store to pick up two bottles to pass around the bus!
