I can truly say that Hektor is the most beautiful violinist I have heard. He is also very professional, reliable and a pleasure to work with. His playing lit up the entire room, the cellist accompanied him perfectly, and he created the perfect ambiance and feel for what we wanted on our wedding day. Our guests loved his prelude music, and we received so many compliments on how much he added to the beauty of our ceremony, as well. I had the string duo play for my wedding ceremony and cocktails hour on 4/28 and I cannot say enough good things!! The music was beautiful! ! Hektor went above and beyond to play a song I wanted that he did not already have and it was perfect!! They were on time and professional. Really added an elegant touch to our day. Hektor and the Star String Quartet are absolutely amazing. We hired a violinist & cellist to play at our late October reception because we were afraid it would be too cold during our outdoor ceremony for the instruments, but the day before our wedding, we discovered it was going to be 75 degrees! My groom insisted we call & ask because he thought it would be so magical to have live music in the tall woods we'd be in, and Hektor rearranged their schedule for the next day so that they could play both our ceremony and reception! We are SO grateful Hektor did that. So many of our guests told us how amazing and memorable it was to have the live music during the ceremony. It really made the ceremony a special, unique experience, listening to the beautiful strings as I walked through the trees. They played at the reception as well, and everyone loved that they knew so many modern songs as well as the classics. We used Star String Quartet about one month ago and could not be any happier with the quality of service we received. From the moment I spoke with Hektor he assured me that everything would go perfectly and it did. The quartet arrived on time and were very independent on a day when many things can be chaotic, we were very happy about that.
Our ceremony took place outside and we really enjoyed walking and getting married to the beautiful music they played. We got many compliment from our guests of the music played outside during the ceremony and the music played inside by the Quartet during cocktail hour which was more modern!!

I would recommend Star String Quartet to any couple looking for a very professional and high quality Quartet at an extremely good price!!

We used the quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We missed out on most of the songs because we were taking pictures, but we received many compliments from our guests. They have a large repertoire of songs to choose from, and if you want a song not listed they can learn it as long as you provide the sheet music. There are weather restrictions for the quartet to play outside and we were cutting it close with an October wedding, but everything worked out and our ceremony was beautiful! Star String Quartet is incredible. There is nothing like the sound of strings, especially from master musicians like these guys, playing on your wedding day. My dad is a musician and is extremely fussy when it comes to music so there was no question that Hektor and the Star String Quartet were playing at my wedding. They are by far the most professional and best sounding string quartet around. We loved Hektor who is incredibly talented and was amazing in how he worked to help coordinate all our music and was on top of every last detail. Star String Quartet's clarity and sound was so beautiful and the emotion they brought to our mass was absolutely breathtaking. Our family and guests are still talking about it two months later! They were able to play everything from classical to more contemporary songs and their sound just brought such a special emotion to the day that we will never forget, nor will our guest. We also had two soloist sing and a brass quartet and the harmony of everything was just perfection. They played at my brother’s wedding mass in Chicago as well as many other weddings we have been to and they sound consistently exquisite every time. We booked a Star String soloist, Hektor Qyteti, for our wedding Mass. I was so appreciative for the quick replies that I received over email, as well as the communication between the organist and Hektor to discuss the musical plans for the ceremony. The caliber of his performance is very high, a professional standard that lends itself to a value much higher than the price. He started prelude music 30 minutes before the ceremony started, as well as the entire 90 minute Mass. Incredibly professional and talented! My husband and I had Star String Quartet play at our ceremony, cocktail hour, and during the dinner portion of our reception. It was so amazing to know that you can trust "The Knot" to provide great recommendations for ceremony musicians! The Star String Quartet was the perfect match! Hektor and his musicians were so professional and all was done over the phone and via e-mail as we were a distance apart.
