We asked for recommendations for a DJ for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah and DJ John was recommended. Are we ever glad we took this advice! He far surpassed our expectations on every level. He took plenty of time in advance of the event to find out exactly what we were looking for, and he also shared from his experience how he might enhance our event. He was in touch multiple times before the event as well to communicate with us. He worked with our venue to make sure everything would flow perfectly. On the day of the party, he was there and set up on time and picked the perfect dancers who were wonderful with the children. He had the children as well as the adults involved and dancing the entire time. When he was having the children play party games he had them whipped into a frenzy of fun. He had a perfect feel for exactly what music to play at for each moment. The night flew by and everyone had a great time. We could not have scripted it any better. Staar Entertainment exceeded our expectations from the first minute of planning through the very last song at our daughter's bat mitzvah! Good music and a fun dance party were very important to us and John was so fully committed to making sure it was everything our daughter wanted and more. He went out of his way to talk with us and with our daughter many times as we prepared for the big day! John and his staff were light-hearted, flexible, accommodating, and kind while providing very thorough customer service all the way through! John provided beautiful and colorful uplighting, which made the event so festive and the kids had such a blast with his games and the big screen! John also facilitated a beautiful candle-lighting. My wedding was FLAWLESS! John was the perfect man to choose to Emcee and DJ my wedding. Everything went on so smoothly and each transition was executed impeccably. He made everyone feel so welcome and allowed me to focus on being the bride - I knew he would take care of the rest and all I can say is WOW !!! John's professionalism and understanding of weddings and events was so helpful in planning the wedding, and I would often turn to him to help me make event decisions. He is so nice and personable and makes you feel like he's completely there for you. I live out of town and he met with me over weekends and took my late night phone calls and emails. In short, John was splendid, the music incredible, and John's topnotch understanding of how to deliver a great, fun event made me feel completely at ease, and I'll always remember how fun it was to know I didn't have to worry about anything and just dance the day away. Great DJ's! I went with Staar entertainment for my wedding because John was great at my sister's wedding. Chris was the DJ at my wedding and it was an absolute hit! They insisted on how great the large screen was to play music videos near the dance floor and were absolutely right. The screen was also used to play a slide show. They also supplied all of the audio for the ceremony. I would absolutely recommend them. More...
