St Ives has been my exclusive florist for at least 18 years. When my Mom passed in 2001 I was trying to plan her memorial while I'm a state of severe grief. My Mom loved flowers. While I was in the shop, trying to coming up with something creative, the team stepped right in and we decided to fill the church with flowers in a unique and special way. St. Ives order hundreds of beautiful, boldly colored Gerber Daisy's. We tied two or three in a small bundle and as guests arrived at the church, every woman revived a little bouquet. The ladies loved their surprise flowers and when I stood to give a speech, the church was standing room only and filled with colorful Gerber Daisy's. After that experience, I became a loyal client.For many years they have helped me design arrangements when I have a vision for what I desire. When I don't, they always ask me all of the right questions and create an exquisite design.And over the holidays, the store is a "one stop shop" for your list. Their creativity shines! One year we designed the most beautiful decorative piece for my fireplace. Festive faux floral "balls" (large) sat on each side of a giant red silk. Now I use it every year and still receive compliments.Yesterday, St. Ives felt more like a family as they helped design and deliver something special for my Dad's celebration of life. Completely blown away by my experience here! To start off, I was looking for a florist in town to do a particular custom piece that required creating an arrangement in the shape of a dog; which may sound a bit weird but I saw it online and knew it would be the perfect thank-you gift for someone who absolutely adores dogs in my life. This was actually more difficult than I expected, as I actually stopped by multiple florists in town and unfortunately was turned away due to the amount of time it would take to create the arrangement, or complexity. As I was about to give up and settle upon a regular floral arrangement, I gave St. Ives a shot seeing all the positive reviews and the amount of professionalism exuded in their work and it was the best decision ever as they truly went above and beyond. They were able to create something even more stunning than the reference picture I provided and I'm blown away by the amount of detail that went into making my vision a reality. It was also such a quick and easy experience, and they had no issues regarding the design or amount of time required. One of the kind ladies who worked there took one quick look at my picture and said we can definitely make that! I placed my order last Friday and picked it up today on a Monday, taking basically only three days, as well as taking into consideration it was Mother's Day weekend and although they were quite busy, they were still able to accommodate me in a very reasonable amount of time. I went to St. Ives Florist only 5 days before my at home wedding. I had seen the closed shop driving by late on the previous Saturday and thought it looked like a place I would like. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I shared a picture of the bodice of my dress and the owner suggested a simple white bouquet (which turned out to be perfect!). Highly recommend for quality flowers and GREAT customer service.. When I walked in I was a bit taken back by the sudden realization I had no idea what I was talking about when it came to flowers. AND it was Valentine's day!! I pondered around a little trying to find something within my price range when I was notified that I'll be helped soon (which is really courteous and welcoming). I was greeted by Katie and she soon realized I had no idea what I was doing. I gave her a price range and she graciously took me around the store picking an array of flowers. Â After asking me colors and types of flowers she kindly offered me a sample of Tahoe Toffee (yummm and I'm not a toffee kind of guy). I grabbed a card as well and I tell you it's because of Katie's superb customer service. I know the next place I am going to buy flowers is St. Ives, and the person I want helping me is the same person I HIGHLY recommend to the potential customer reading this: KATIE! The look on my girlfriend's face was worth double what it cost to make the beautiful assortment of flowers that Katie made for me. Their shop is gorgeous and amazing and their flowers are simple and lovely. They don't last very long. My husband got my flowers for my birthday and they lasted a week. Wonderful shop and wonderful people! I wanted to put flowers on my cap for graduation and when I called St Ives for advice on flower glue they immediately told me to come on down and they would help me do it there. 5 stars for this awesome florist!!! I saw the reviews and had to call considering their reviews were far beyond other local nurseries and florists i frequent in Reno. Eric was my customer service agent and let me just say he made my day!! His ideas were excellent and the new baby bouquet they sent was by far one of the best I've ever ordered! They even text me a picture before they delivered! I was so impressed I called back and pre ordered for Valentine's Day! A dozen long stemmed roses with Tahoe dark chocolates with sea salt. I stopped into St. Ives a few weeks ago to get flowers for two coworkers. I was immediately greeted and helped. Robert walked me through different arrangement options. He was very knowledgable about the different flowers and how long each would last. This was important to me as I didn't want them to go bad/wilt too quickly. Great florist. Danielle and Mark went above and beyond standard customer service for me on the morning of  Thursday, August 25, 2016. I was on the hunt, that morning while on my way to work, for a flower as a  birthday present. I  struck out before coming to  St Ives, truly based on the business hours starting at 9a. Just my luck that's when I went to  their door around 845a I discovered the same, open at 9a. As I was about to leave  Daniel gets out of his car and provides a miracle in my mind. He said even though they didn't open for 15min he'd help me out. It was a breath of fresh air to know that true customer service still exists. What a wonderful family owned and operated florist. I popped in an Valentine's Day as a last minute decision to buy a little something for two of my friends. I've heard about how many florists jack up the prices on Valentine's Day so I wasn't really too hopeful that I could get something nice for 2 different ladies for around $40. Katie and Robert shattered that and set me up with roses AND candy! Boom! $38 and some change and in under 10 minutes I was on my way. What a hit the gifts were! I needed a bouquet of flowers last minute so, based on reviews, I chose to call St Ives. The gentleman who answered the phone was incredibly helpful - the bouquet I was putting together was very random and based on flowers from France. Regardless, he was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. When I arrived at the shop, the same guy that helped me on the phone (I'm so sorry, I forgot his name!) was nice enough to help me put the bouquet in my car. What an awesome place to grab a bouquet of flowers. We were on our way to visit my father-in-law and found this place on yelp. Â The store is clean, full of Christmas stuff right now, and has super friendly staff. Â We dropped in and let her know what we had in mind...something bright...and must fit the green cone at the cemetery. Â She actually walked us back to the cooler so we could check out what they had. Â She even gave us the option of putting something together. Â Well, I don't have an ounce of creativity so we left it up to the pros. Â Haha. Â Oh, and we wanted something in the range of $50. I waited until the last minute to have some flowers delivered to my Mom for Mother's Day. When the sweet lady on the phone asked if I could pick them up because they are were so busy and I answered ""No, because I live in Idaho"" she happily found a way to create a beautiful arrangement and have it delivered that same day.
