This is a low cost wellness clinic for cats and dogs for people who are in financial need. Dr. Rockey is an amazing veterinarian who is caring, compassionate and always ready to offer options in the care of your pet. They offer a low cost spray/neuter and a trap rental to catch feral cats to get them fixed. The rental fee is reimbursed when the trap is returned. This is not a full service veterinarian office, it is basically wellness care. They are in the process of expanding so they will be able to offer more services in the next few months. Awesome customer service and they did such a great job spaying my cat that she didn't even take the pain meds and one week later her incision is almost completely healed. And after having her nails clipped, flea & tick prevention plus updated rabies vaccination~ cost me a third of what most clinics wanted just to spay her. My husband and I had previously gone to a private vet office for our cat and dog's health needs, but we will be coming to the St. Augustine Humane Society from now on! We received better care at half the price and didn't feel pressured to buy any unnecessary products like we did at the private vet's office. Dr. Rockey was very respectful and communicated with us as to what our cat and dog's needs were. Our previous vet at the private vet's office talked down to us, pressured us to buy unnecessary products, and charged us twice as much. We received excellent care here, so we will be coming to see Dr. Rockey from now on at the St. Augustine Humane Society. More...
