My wife and I love this place. We come for soup and sandwich fare, but we see pasta, seafood and other dinner dishes come out and looking good. We have NEVER been disappointed with the rubens, melts, stellar soups and other home made meals. When we meet friends and guests for lunch or light dinners, we try to meet here. We ate here for the first time last night and it was wonderful. My wife had the Hot Brown and raved about it. Even though we have been to the Columbia, Tennessee area to visit relatives many times, we did not know about this restaurant. Friends introduced us and we were glad they did. A lively family-style restaurant with friendly servers and economically priced food. It is located in the marketing square that surrounds the courthouse, with numerous types of small shops available to browse. I had a delicious roast beef sandwich. Very tasty and not dry like roast beef can be in some restaurants. Will definitely go back there again on future visits. More...

My second time to visit and both meals were excellent. Nice atmosphere both visits. First time two weeks ago crowded busy lunch was served a delicious sandwich and savory gourmet soup.
