Spunbyss catered our October 2019 wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice! (Excellent food + professional service = happy customers. ) Steve and Samy delivered in every possible way, from beginning to end. After finding their truck through Off the Grid, we reached out to discuss catering & booking. Their communication was unparalleled - booking the truck and deciding the menu was easy and straightforward, with no hidden surprises or fees. (I work in hospitality and often coordinate catering for work events - so I was particularly floored by their professionalism.) Spunbyss accommodated every request, from menu tweaks to service time, and all of our guests raved about the food. (Bacon cheeseburger and Korean fried chicken sliders! Fries with fresh herbs! We hired Spunbyss for our picnic wedding and it was a huge hit! I have experience trying to book food trucks for events and it was really refreshing to have someone actually email me back right away. Steve was easy to work with, great communication. Sliders are fairly crowd-pleasing to begin with but we received so many compliments on how delicious they were. Spunbyss absolutely exceeded my expectation! They came out to our company event and the food was amazing! We had the opportunity to preselect the menu ahead of time (New American Classic, Spicy Korean Fried Chicken and Beyond Meat Sliders) and make specific adjustments when ordering. The entire crew was not only friendly but they did a great job of accommodating all 80 people in a short amount of time. OMG this truck is so GOOD. I get excited when I look outside and see them in front of City Hall. I had the beef and the chicken sliders and they were NOT DRY. After trying out their delicious sliders at the Menlo Park farmer's market, we hired Spunbyss to cater a birthday party at our house for 80 people.   Steve was excellent at communicating with us before our event, and was able to accommodate changes in the number of guests up until shortly before our party.   Spunbyss did a fantastic job, making beef, chicken and impossible sliders to order for everyone.   Our guests raved about the food, and this was a highlight of our party. Tried them at treasurefest and honestly can't understand why they aren't 1 of the trucks with an hour long wait... because I'd wait it.  These sliders were amazing. Great beef flavor and the aioli was tangy and perfect. The fries were better than the food truck who only sell fries.  I went back for seconds and that says a lot when you have so many options.  This will be an absolute must each time I get the chance. This place has very tasty food.  All the ingredients taste fresh. My husband loves the Spicy Korean Fried Chicken Slider. He says that it's the best chicken slider that he had ever eaten . I like the Bacon Cheese Slider. The fries are amazing. They are freshly cut, and homemade I believe. This is my 3rd time here. I will be definitely back.  The staff are very friendly also. This is probably one of my favorite Slider food trucks. I'm usually very particular about Korean Fried Chicken, everybody claims to be able to make it, yet when I taste it it lacks flavor or has too much breading. Not here! Their Korean chicken slider is actually better than their beef slider in my opinion. A huge chunk of lightly breaded dark meat in a nice spicy Tabasco sauce oh, it had a kick, and it packed a lot of flavor. Their regular beef slider was really good too, I had a good range of spices oh, but you can still taste the fresh ground meat. Their Kennebec fries was hot and fresh, and they deep fry the Rosemary, which was crispy and delicious.When he offers do you assign a regular ketchup or a spicy sauce, go with a spicy sauce it goes good with everything including the burger. I was pleasantly surprised with this food truck, and this is what food trucks is all about good quality food, fast, and convenient.A rare 5 Stars amongst the other food trucks in this Food Truck park. My fiancé ordered the chicken slider and raved about how soft and sweet the bun was! It complimented the chicken and he loved how the chili's gave the slider a little kick! It's hard to find a chicken slider cooked to perfection! Great portion, but had to order two since it was so good! I personally really enjoy their limited chicken skins! Always ask if it's available if you get the chance ! It's SO delicious ! I normally wouldn't order chicken skins from any other food spot, but I heard others raving about it so I had to try for myself! Beef sliders are personally my favorite item from Spunbyss! I am also a bit of a germaphobe, but I felt at ease ordering from this truck because it was so clean. This place is awesome. The person I talked was super nice and seemed passionate about the food. I ordered the combo of two sliders and fries. My God it was good. Juicy and delicious. Fried chicken slider was cooked perfectly and was juicy. Fries were crispy and amazing. I do have to give anyone a warning, the sauce on the chicken slider is hot as shit. Good but hot. Shopping in the city and needed a small and quick bite to eat. Saw this food truck and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! Ordered 2 bacon and cheese sliders. They also gave us a friend chicken slider and fries to sample (we were hemming and hawing on what to get as everything looked great). The burger was amazing. the beef patty ... juicy and flavorful. The cheese and bacon as also super yummy. The mini brioche bun is perfect ... soft but held it's shape to the juicy burger. the fried chicken slider is tasty ... very different from the burger. The fried chicken on it's own is crispy, crunchy and moist (yeah to no dry chicken!). The fries are also perfectly crispy on the outside and potatoe-y on the inside. It also comes with this smoky, spicy ketchup mayo dip ... so addicting. Highly recommend this food truck! Also the service is friendly, very nice and patience people. Only nit is that the menu board is hard to see as the sun was shining bright so there was a glare. They should have paper print outs of their menu to offset days when it's super sunny so people can look at the menu. More...

I encountered Spunbyss one evening at the Spark Social SF in Mission Bay.  What caught my eye was the truck seemed super clean and the photos of the food were nicely done. ..and then the food did not disappoint!  I had 2 cheeseburgers with onions and a spunfizz.  Delish!  The burger rolls were amazing.  And the meat was melt-in-ur-mouth.  The Spunfizz drink was sparkling water with watermelon juice and I was impressed with how refreshing it was - a great alternative to a Sprite!My son got burgers with a side of chicken skins....and he put the 2 together and devoured it!I was chatting with the owner and everything is organic....and all plates, etc are compostable.  Way to think about our environment Spunbyss!We'll definitively hit that truck again!
