"My wife and I wanted to make our home more inviting for entertaining, with the intent to draw our guests to the outdoor pool area in our backyard. We were impressed with Bree Cox Kennedy's ideas and selections. Bree's designs were centered around our guest's entire experience. She recommended we change the lighting fixtures and decorations at our entry to be more welcoming, renovate our outdoor gazebo and landscaping, and purchase modern and comfortable outdoor furnishings that are welcoming and memorable. We embraced all of her suggestions to elevate our guests experience from the time they enter our house and while they enjoy our outdoor pool area. We also incorporated Bree's suggestions on renovating a guest bathroom to be modern and beautiful. When it was time to totally redesign my Newport Beach condo, I was so fortunate to be introduced to Bree. I wanted to bring a bright, clean and modern look to a more traditionally furnished space, while keeping in mind that this is more often my 'guest house' rather than my main residence. With that in mind, she introduced a beautiful palette of soft colors with a spa like peacefulness that resonates throughout. What I am so impressed with is that Bree truly listens. She understands that change can be challenging to handle, and she has navigated any reticence with such care and patience. Bree has transformed my new house into a home. It was built in the 80's and in need of serious updating. I had less than zero vision, no idea where to begin; only a vague sense of what I did not want. One afternoon at her design center and she absolutely nailed my style. She transformed my puffy southwest entertainment built-ins, vertical blinds, weathered oak cabinets, and soffits throughout into a beautiful, clean, contemporary but warm home. Gone is the Venetian plaster; replaced with smooth walls or fully tiled walls for an amazing sense of textured, clean warmth. Every room that she has touched leaves "before" guests in awe of the simplistic yet elegant design. Bree's expansive knowledge of textiles, stone, lighting, and color schemes is truly a gift.
