Special Security Patrol is a subsidiary of N C Special Police meaning they are both part of one organization making them a real team that put both armed security and police at your facility giving you a superior high quality level of protection.

The security officers with Special Security Patrol receive training required by the North Carolina Private Protective Services. But, what puts them a level above other security officers is that in addition to the State mandated training they also train alongside our Police Officers. This is important because it affords them a level of training not normally afforded to non law-enforcement personnel. This is done due to the fact that our Police Officers depend, (on many occasions), on the Security Officer for back up. In addition the Security Officer depends on our Police Officer for backup. This extra training give the Police Officer the confidence in the level of performance he receives from a backup officer.

Our Police Officers are trained to the same level or above that of other law enforcement agencies including Sheriff's Departments as well as Municipal Police Departments. Training and Standards at the North Carolina Department of Justice requires the same training and accreditation from our officers as they do any other law enforcement officer. Our staff includes instructors certified by the North Carolina Department of Justice; they can and do provide in service training annually to each officer. In addition they go above and beyond the training mandated by the Department of Justice. In addition we have instructors that are certified by other national organizations to provide additional training in the areas of active shooter including active shooter programs for malls as well as other retail type businesses. We have several officers certified to teach different types of hands on combat and defense techniques. N C Special Police is in the process of organizing programs to offer to the public, especially women.
