We had a Roaring 20s New Years Eve party at Speakeasy tonight and I could not have asked for better service. The ambiance is gorgeous. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Food was so good I had an Alfredo dish with shrimp and sauteed mushrooms and the mushrooms were so flavorful it made the whole dish. Great friendly service as well.

Service was great. Atmosphere was good. Tried a variety of dishes - unfortunately quality was quite variable. Spaghetti and meatballs was not good, but had a tortellini dish that was fantastic. This restaurant pulls off the name " speakeasy", and it has the old mobster car and the motifs in the dining and richly appointed bar. We had excellent service and were given adequate time to converse listen to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra songs while enjoying good food. We topped the meal with a Tiramisu for two... yummy. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The old car, a 1934 Auburn, is a treasure. The server was very polite and frequently checked to see if we needed anything. The food is appealing to the eyes, smells great, tastes even better than expected. This place is a classy place to eat when you have extra money in your wallet. The food is higher priced, but you don't leave with any growling in your stomach. I am very happy that this restaurant has been in business for so many years. That's a testament in itself.
