Services

First and Foremost, video and evidence is our main focus. We have a team of highly trained investigators with the most high tech equipment that obtains quality video while out in the field. Our team quality control team then takes that work product through a 3 step quality control process where we filter video and reports through our processing to be sure they are free of any errors. Our report writing team is highly trained in formulating concise and consistent reports with formula that prepares our clients for court testimony.

Our agency can conduct surveillance on your ex-spouse to find out what activities they are partaking in while caring for the child(ren). If your ex-spouse is leaving your child unattended or is under the influence of alcohol or drugs while caring for the children, we can gather the evidence needed to help you fight for custody and keep your children safe.

If you have an attorney involved in your case, we will work closely with him or her to be sure that we are gathering the information that is needed to help you win your case in court.

When a couple is married for several years and there is one spouse who has spent the majority of the marriage taking care of the children and/or supporting the opposite spouse’ in his/her career, the oppostite spouse will be ordered to pay alimony. After the divorce is final, the ex-spouse will continue to be entitled to the alimony. If the ex-spouse decides to remarry or co-habitate with a new partner, the opposite spouse can attempt to have the amount of alimony reduced.

In these types of situations, the ex-spouse who is receiving the alimony may attempt to lie about the new relationship or hide it so he or she can continue collecting the full amount of alimony.

Space Coast Investigations has assisted several clients in providing the evidence necessary to prove that the ex-spouse is living with and sharing expenses with another individual. We do this by showing patterns of every day activity at different times of day that would indicate that the individual is living in the home. We would obtain pictures and video ofthe subject doing activity such as: going out to check the mail, taking the garbage out, leaving the house for a job and returning directly home from the job, their vehicle parked at the home at all hours of the night, etc. We would also do an address check to see if the individual has had their mail forwarded to the ex-spouses’ address. An asset check would also be completed to see if there are any shared assets between them.

Hit and Run? Suspicious vehicle sighting? Need to identify someone and you only have their license plate or tag number? Buying a vehicle and need to know the history or whether there are liens or if the vehicle was stolen?

Don’t waste your time getting bad data from scam websites. Hiring a private investigator to provide accurate and up to date information will save you a lot of headache in the future. Especially when facing legal matters.

We can get phone numbers to contact previous owners, find out the company who finances the vehicle to make sure the loan is paid in full, get the name and address of the current owner as well as background checks of any individuals and get full vin numbers for vehicles.

Dating someone new and have kids? You can be sure to get accurate answers on whether this new man in your life is fit to be around your children. Hiring a new employee? Find out a complete history on them to make sure they do not have any past judgments or a criminal background that could put your business in harms way.

Florida is a no-fault state (meaning that either party may be granted a divorce without the need to prove wrong-doing on the other spouse). This fact, however, does not stop people from wanting to know the truth about whether their spouse has been cheating on them. Space Coast Investigations has worked several infidelity cases and 90% of the clients simply want answers for the purpose of needing to know their next steps and whether they want to pursue a divorce.

Even though Florida is a no fault state, there are cases where an attorney may recommend hiring a private investigator if the couple has mutual children involved in the divorce. The reason for this is because if a spouse is committing adultery and making wreckless decisions, it may reflect poorly on her abilitty to make good decisions for the children. The act of adultery could potentially have an adverse affect on the child and therefore can be used as evidence in a custody case. We have had several cases referred to us by attorneys who were questioning the “moreal fitness” of the oppostite spouse and wanted video evidence that they were carrying on a relationship with another person. In cases like these, we would also run background checks to see if the person that the spouse is spending time with has a criminal history. If they have an unsuitable character, this may also strenghthen the case to show that the spouse is making poor decisions for her family.
